Just received confirmation my car has completed production and is currently awaiting shipment! My dealer is only about 15 miles away from the plant, so hopefully it doesn't take much longer now. However, I was told they won't ship just one car... they will wait until they get enough vehicles to fill up a truck. ETA is 8/3 - 8/9, so I could be in the new car as early as Friday! After 4 months, knowing it's finally so close is making each day slow to a crawl at this point...

Does anyone know if the Mustangs scheduled to last week have completed production? Mine was scheduled for 7/26... just wondering typically how many days a new car build takes or generally how soon a car moves to await transport.

Hi - can someone please help provide some clarification for me -- my dealer contacted me today and said my car is scheduled for 8/23, however, when I went to confirm with Ford Performance chat, they told me I'm scheduled the week of 8/6. Ruby Red Mustang GT Order #: 8839 Dealer: F48032 Ford Performance also said a VIN has been assigned, but that my dealer would have to let me know that info... but my dealer has not given me the VIN. I know there are hundreds of variables that go into when a car is scheduled, but given the below, does anyone think there should be room for concern when I retail-ordered my 2019 on April 9 and have not been given a scheduled date yet? Normally I would not ask, but my dealer keeps telling me they are "the #2 Ford dealership for sales in the country" and that I should have expected the car "quickly" after production start-up. When I first ordered, I was told I'd get it in July. However, I am not getting any answer from them as to WHY my vehicle is still unscheduled, and I see so many people online saying they have build weeks already. I was just given a lines such as, "people online can just be BS'ing their production weeks to rub salt", or, "we want it here just as quickly as you do". And by my dealer reinforcing they're one of the "top", it just makes it all the more frustrating. Dealer: F48032, priority 10 Order #: 8839
