I agree that you’ll have some difference of opinion, but with the Aviator it seems so different. I too really don’t care what a reviewer has to say as I’ll be the judge if I like a car; they show some insights but at the end of the day I take their words with a grain of salt.

I don’t understand how some of the reviews are so different. This goes for the regular Aviator as well.
-
I always kind of wondered why there was only an emergency release on my driver’s side door.
-
The one article mentioned it would be Edge size, and given the timeframe could this mean the Edge and Nautilus are going BEV for the next generation?

These reviews just make me
excited for mine. As of now it’s being built next week.

Here are a few more reviews. GT Reviews come on Thursday.
For some reason, I'm liking this color too:
That’s Chroma Caviar; my Continental is that color. It really pops when it’s all cleaned up.
-
As I said in the other thread John Davis said that wasn’t the goal of the GT; no one is going to pay $70k, hell no one is going to pay $50K to save money on fuel. This is basically an alternative to a sc/turbo V8.
-
As John Davis said in the TFL review it wasn’t meant to be for efficiency; no one is paying $70K to save money on fuel.

That’s what I had to do with my original Aviator; it was already scheduled and they couldn’t change the order...but with all of the delays at this point I’m thinking it could have been done.
-
And now it’s been pushed back to August 26th.
-
Ford will have a green option. It’s called the Mach-E and I’m sure Lincoln will get its own variant too.

So, I called my dealer today to see if my Aviator was still on track to be built this week and he told me he couldn’t tell me one way or another due to an “update” but he should know next week. ?

If you put it in excite is drops down and then select snow and it goes up. It would be nice to auto lower when you put it in park. The only way I could get it down was having excite selected.
I thought it automatically lowered at higher speeds too, no?

Some Explorers had paint defects; was also told that dealerships were instructed to order new ones due to these issues. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise that I had a later build date now.
-
How customizable are the gauges? I was a bit disappointed by my Continental in that regard, seems a bit of waste to have that huge screen with so little customization.

Why would you use it other than stop and go traffic?

One less thing I have to do. ?

Auto hold can be put on permanently in the settings menu. I just turned it off as I didn't like it.
I love it in my Continental. When I drive a car that doesn’t have it I find it annoying.

Haven’t driven one yet, but I have read the owner’s manual. Auto hold remembers the last setting, but A/SS reverts to ON at each start up.
I haven’t found a Stop/Start that I don’t find annoying but I’ll see with this one. If it’s not noticeable I’ll leave it on or as mentioned just drive in Excite mode all of the time.
-
Can the Auto Hold be placed on permanently or do you have to select it every time? Same for Auto Start/Stop?
-
Not a great way to start the launch. I really hope this doesn’t delay mine; hopefully they can fix the issue while still proceeding to build new ones.

Pretty good video of the Black Label... but without the Dynamic Handling Package...
That’s the dealership I ordered mine through. Pretty good review, makes me want mine that much more!
-
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. You could slum it like me and just get the standard Black Label. ? Hopefully about a month to go.

I think late 2019 was before they decided to add a separate area and workers.
This post was from a few hours ago...I don’t know what else to say when Lincoln is saying late 2019...
-
I mean they keep saying late 2019 so I don’t see why not.

For me I really don’t care about fuel economy so much that I care about range; Every car I’ve ever owned has only been good for about 300 miles on the high end.
