Damn... That sucks. Unfortunately I don't have any real recommendations. My coworkers have had work done to their alumi-duty's, some extensive, at Frank's Collision, but they are on the South East Side of town. Turned out well, but I've never personally used them. Best of Luck, I would be pissed.

Other than that a great looking truck. Dropped it off for some accessories installs and other items and will have it back mid- next week. Good luck to the rest of you with 22's. Hopefully things will be a lot better for the folks with 23 orders. The dealer was great and honored all pricing and no hassle.

I'm not an expert, but in the 11+ months I have been following the forums and reading the posts, a "typical" shipment process would be 1 - 2 weeks after being built and 2 - 3 weeks of shipment time depending on where in the country you are. My truck was one of the "lucky" ones that got selected for the Kentucky Speedway storage lot black hole during the parts shortage of August and September, finally emerging after 3 months. Trucks that were built in mid-late Oct - December were usually shipped within a week or two and reached their destinations within 3 - 4 weeks. Some people's trucks got stuck at the local rail yard for longer, but I would guess 3 - 5 weeks to the dealer would be considered "normal" after production is complete.

Here is an update. The dealer has been great, they know where the truck is and has updated me a few times a week, especially the last month or so. The truck is obviously in the sea of trucks that are staged somewhere in Kentucky awaiting shipment. The dealer only can tell me what Ford tells them which is shipping by Jan 6th, but Ford as moved that date many times since November, so confidence its shipping in the next day or two is very low and a high probability the date will get pushed out again for the 6th or 7th time. It's going to be what its going to be, but I was more curious if Ford is 20%, 40%, 60% complete with moving and shipping the trucks that are complete, released, on hold and staged around the plant and KSW. If they were 60 - 80% done, then I would be more optimistic it will ship soon, but with the 2023's rolling off the line and taking priority on shipment and if they are only 20% cleared out, then I may have quite a longer wait. I've been disappointed in the whole process. I understand the challenges, just disappointed in Ford for not having a better plan and adjusting resources accordingly. If they would let me fly up there and get it, I would drive it back.

Well....here we are almost a month later and mine is still waiting to ship. I appreciate all the efforts for the KTP employees on here keeping people informed and the fact that there are several reports of trying to clear up the backlog, hopefully my truck will be one of the one's shipped soon. I've been reading this topic on and off for the last 9 months. My 2022 was built on 09/24, is released and awaiting shipment. I understand there is a large backlog of vehicles awaiting shipment, but does anyone know when they plan to try and get those shipped? Does anyone have any updates on the status? You would think they would assign a team and additional resources to clear it out quickly, but all I get is delivery expected date push after delivery expected date push. Right now they have delivery estimated for mid-December, but everything still shows awaiting shipment, so not sure that will happen. Looks like it will be 2023 by the time the truck arrives.
