I have a question. In 2004, I was transferred from one plant to another. They told me I had no choice, because it was less than 50 miles. Years later I found out people who transferred from the same plant as I to the same plant as I did all received a moving allowance. I also found out even though I filled out the paperwork, the second plant was not listed as my home plant. The former one which had closed was still listed as my home plant. Someone messed up my paperwork, so I am not qualified to receive a moving allowance (or so I was told). Does this seem right? Also now, they show no record of my having been at the second plant. Since a new 401K management company came in, 14 years of my service time have also been removed. No one seems to want to help me. What should I do?
