So this is a concept version of what they’re going to make?
Aside from the seats, it seems like it’s going to be very similar.

I love the way this looks. Hopefully other broncos get the digital gauge cluster soon.
-
Could it be the Explorer EV or another EV? Maybe the muffler and pipe are a trick.
-
The constellation theme interior looks really nice. Hopefully, the upcoming lincoln products get that theme.

It kinda bothers me this interior looks like the evos inside. Where are the perfect positioned seats? Overall, I’m not impressed with the interior. I do wonder what the aviator ev interior willl look like now.
-
While we don’t get this in the states, the aviator ev will have this design language.

I predict that the screen size will be around 10 inches. Ford Authority has a new article indicating that the escape is getting a larger screen. As for the maverick, the design of the infotainment screen with the little cubby seems to be a easily upgradable for its eventual refresh.

Only the Rivian platform was cancelled. We may see it on a Ford platform.I hope so. I would like to see a Lincoln flagship.

I do wonder what the Continental suv was going to be like before it got canceled. I have it feeling it was going to compete with the electric version of this Range Rover. Shame that we will never see it.

I understand why but I wish the Everest was sold in the states.

here’s some spy pics of the new Everest. There are some interior shots as well which show it to have pretty much the same interior as the current gen. Hopefully this is only because it’s a mule, but it seems odd since it looks like a complete vehicle and not some hack job.
I think one was spied having the Mach-E screen so this is just an early prototype.

News today from Automotive News that "the Bronco truck" has been canceled.
It should be clarified that one truck project under development did in fact get the axe. There are still moves afoot to expand the Bronco brand. Was it going after the gladiator or was it something different?
-
Wasn’t it rumored to get the power boost hybrid?

I think Matt Maran Motoring was the YouTuber with sources about a sedan mustang.
Edit: Here's the video...

EV version of Navigator based on the TE1 platform of next gen F-150 Lightning is surely a slamdunk project already approved.
I also think Lincoln will try to find a way to reuse the Continental name. Imagine a super lux version of next gen EV Aviator with suicide doors and back seat pushed way back (no 3rd row) to maximize cabin space. That's how you elevate the brand... another sedan won't move the needle for Lincoln.
Unfortunately, I think that was what the canceled Continental flagship suv was supposed to be.

Tesla's success since the introduction of Model S in 2012 indicates there is a lot of pent up demand for premium electric vehicles from an American company.
Lincoln's announcement today, combined with Cadillac's BEV related announcements last year, makes me confident that the transition of those 2 brands to 100% electric vehicles will bring newfound respect to American luxury cars.
Hopefully

It’s certainly interesting. They’re definitely doing the space theme.

so Lincoln's blue cruise is going to be called ActiveGlide:
Soon, the brand will build on its comprehensive suite of advanced driver-assist features with the introduction of Lincoln ActiveGlide hands-free highway driving technology. Using advanced camera, radar and driver monitoring technologies, Lincoln ActiveGlide will allow a driver to operate hands-free on prequalified sections of divided highways called Hands-Free Blue Zones.
Certainly sounds better than blue cruise lol

Hope they’re specific and not just “we’re going electric”

I’m sure we will hear an announcement pretty soon.
-
Didn’t the leaked images on the maverick forum show it having a larger screen? I guess not.
-
-
An all electric Explorer has been announced. Now, is it just the current Explorer but turned into an EV or will it be it’s own thing?
-
I wish they would've updated the steering wheel but it looks like it's getting blue cruise or whatever Lincolns version will be called.

in Competing Products

I think I like it. I'm not sold on the front end but everything else looks nice. It will stand out. I'm not sure if its going to be worth its asking price. Competing with an S-Class is one thing(Cadillac doesn't have a product that can even match that) but trying to be in a similar price bracket with a Rolls Royce and Bentley is a whole different story.
