  1. I think I like it. I'm not sold on the front end but everything else looks nice. It will stand out. I'm not sure if its going to be worth its asking price. Competing with an S-Class is one thing(Cadillac doesn't have a product that can even match that) but trying to be in a similar price bracket with a Rolls Royce and Bentley is a whole different story.

Agree - my only reason for concern is Maverick does not come with Sync 4, so I didn't know whether to read anything into that or not. Here's Sync 4 screen placement in Euro Focus:2021-Ford-Focus-facelift-00005.jpg

I predict that the screen size will be around 10 inches. Ford Authority has a new article indicating that the escape is getting a larger screen. As for the maverick, the design of the infotainment screen with the little cubby seems to be a easily  upgradable for its eventual refresh.

here’s some spy pics of the new Everest. There are some interior shots as well which show it to have pretty much the same interior as the current gen. Hopefully this is only because it’s a mule, but it seems odd since it looks like a complete vehicle and not some hack job.new-ford-everest-spy-photos.jpgnew-ford-everest-spy-photos.jpgnew-ford-everest-spy-photos.jpg

I think one was spied having the Mach-E screen so this is just an early prototype.

EV version of Navigator based on the TE1 platform of next gen F-150 Lightning is surely a slamdunk project already approved.

I also think Lincoln will try to find a way to reuse the Continental name. Imagine a super lux version of next gen EV Aviator with suicide doors and back seat pushed way back (no 3rd row) to maximize cabin space. That's how you elevate the brand... another sedan won't move the needle for Lincoln.

Unfortunately, I think that was what the canceled Continental flagship suv was supposed to be.

Tesla's success since the introduction of Model S in 2012 indicates there is a lot of pent up demand for premium electric vehicles from an American company.

Lincoln's announcement today, combined with Cadillac's BEV related announcements last year, makes me confident that the transition of those 2 brands to 100% electric vehicles will bring newfound respect to American luxury cars.

    Hopefully

so Lincoln's blue cruise is going to be called ActiveGlide:

Soon, the brand will build on its comprehensive suite of advanced driver-assist features with the introduction of Lincoln ActiveGlide hands-free highway driving technology. Using advanced camera, radar and driver monitoring technologies, Lincoln ActiveGlide will allow a driver to operate hands-free on prequalified sections of divided highways called Hands-Free Blue Zones.

Certainly sounds better than blue cruise lol
