  1. Ok, well I'll guess I'll make do with Sync 3, It still has Birds Eye backup camera view etc, good enough. So I guess I really want an Aviator Grand Touring still. It's time to retire my 2015 Ford Explorer Sport
  2. I just got a response from my Lincoln dealer: "Hi Jon, I made a couple of calls and for the Aviator seeing how it came out in 2020 The Sync 4 won’t be available for this vehicle for a couple of years I am told" (Ugh, Do you really think we will need to wait for 2023???)
  3. The all new updated Sync 4 system is going to be included on the 2021 Nautilus. https://www.lincoln.com/luxury-crossovers/nautilus/2021/ The Aviator still comes with the older Sync 3 system that's been out for many years already. Many of the new 2021 Ford come with Sync 4 as well, so it's a bit disappointing. I really hope the 2021 Aviator will get a Sync 4 mid cycle refresh (before the 2022 model is released at least) I just ordered a 2021 Aviator Black Label Grand Touring a few days ago, but I'm starting to think maybe I should wait for the mid cycle refresh or even 2022 to get what I really want. (and get my deposit back if so) Sync 4 will probably be around for at least 3-4 years before Sync 5, if it's a similar upgrade cycle Sync 3 was out. Thoughts? If I can't wait, would it make sense or be silly to lease a 2021 with Sync 3 sooner and then BUY the 2022 with Sync 4 next year?
