  1. I'm not really surprised that a salesperson might not have any clue about saving and sending pdf files, let alone being able to get a screenshot, save it, then send it. There are more of these inept people than you'd believe. A few years ago, I worked with a guy who was a technical writer. Granted, he was probably in his early 50s. He lost a file he was working on, so I tried to help him. Apparently, he thought he saved the files in "Recent' but couldn't find it there (apparently, he had already opened more than 10 files, which was the setting for the Recent listing in Word). Seriously. He had no concept of file structure/saving. So I asked him to go to his desktop and, I kid you not, he started looking at his desk. I said on your computer. He was lost. He had no idea what I was talking about. I was shocked. And he wasn't kidding. Lots of people in sales have very little computer knowledge. There are many who do, but many who don't.
  2. I was 7/19, then 8/9, but after seeing your post and a few similar ones, I'm afraid to ask where I am now.
  3. Thanks! That's good to see that what I heard wasn't just erroneous information, but something consistent with others. I'm not surprised one bit about the dates changing/slipping, though I previously hadn't heard it from others. And you're probably right that most people are checking back to see if their original dates had changed. They may be in for a surprise come end of July! By the way, I don't believe I had any options, such as a bed liner, that could hold up production, so it's likely just a commodity delay.
  4. I ordered my 450 Platinum at the end of March. Like others had mentioned, I never received a confirmation e-mail. Yes, checked spam/junk folders. The dealer confirmed my correct e-mail address. Fast forward until a few weeks ago, I contacted Ford marketing and was given my VIN and a target build week of July 19. The other day, I sent an e-mail asking the dealer if it does get built that week, about how long does it take to arrive. He replied that he didn't see a July 19 build, but an August 9 build date. Just for kicks, I called marketing again, and they said there was no target build date, but confirmed my VIN and e-mail address again. Are the dates being quoted already being pushed around? Does marketing not always have the info?
  5. I ordered my F450 Platinum pickup (not C&C) in the end of March, and it's scheduled to be built July 19.
  6. From my previous research, dealers (and Ford's website), have always shown when vehicles "enroute." (I don't remember if that was the exact word used, though) Since I was shopping for an F450, most of the F450s were in that category, few were actually in stock.
  7. Back in March, I ordered an F450, and the new, higher-than-2021 prices were already in effect. If you go to Nada's website, all the 2022 pricing is already there. Of course, they could further increases prices.
