Please do not feed the trolls.
what’s going to happen is the same thing that happened when @ice-capades used to post the weekly commodity restraints. He’s gonna get tired of trying to help and I don’t blame him.

The hotspot isn’t a loss in my opinion. My current phone plan allows me to share my phone as a hot spot. My kids are happy. Beyond the wifi hot spot trial I’ve never activated it, or used it.

I live in the Louisville area, our entire state fairgrounds is jam packed with super duty’s. If you’ve been in production for awhile your truck is probably sitting there waiting on a chip or whatever.

I predict some will hate the changes, some will love the changes, most will be ok with the changes.
I cannot imagine Ford changes much considering they still have supply issues.I plan to put an order in for one and sell the 22

Yes, the Roof Clearance Lights can be installed afterwards. Your Dealer can give you an estimate for the required parts and installation.
In 35+ years, I'd have trouble remembering an instance where I ordered a retail Super Duty without the Roof Clearance Lights. If a customer didn't have it on their list of options, I always asked about it and recommended it.
Id rather have them and not like them vs stomaching cutting holes in my brand new truck cause I didnt get them on my original order.

Since it takes takes at least 25 years to build a nuclear power plant in the U.S., it's all a moot debate anyway. That ship has sailed. And besides, NOBODY wanted a nuclear plant in their backyard.
In Metro Detroit, Marathon finally built a new refinery 10 years ago or so in Delray that is famous for dirty industry, and ever since the people who live and do business there have been fighting the refinery tooth and nail.
Moral of story.....time to move on and find cleaner, safer energy which has been happening over time. No single one is a panacea, but together they are making progress and creating jobs.
I could be wrong and maybe i read false information, but nuclear power is about as clean as it gets! its also MUCH safer than it used to be. theres enough outlying land to put a nuclear plant on in the US and we can send power a very long long way. We missed the boat we shoulda been building these along with wind and solar.

we screwed up by not building new nuclear power stations along with wind and solar. Nuclear is our best bet and we arent pursuing it !!

iTunes is a pile of hot garbage .. at least it was when I gave up on it many many years ago. Ripping CDs is a dying thing now. "All the kids" just want to stream music now.

I did a search, not extensive but couldn't really find much discussion on Ford removing CD player from entertainment system. I didn't realize my new truck wasn't going to have a CD player until the day I took delivery, salesman looked at me like I was from another planet. Now I have a $%^& load of CDs and no way to play them. Are any of you also surprised and if you like CDs or your collection, how are you able to listen now, download to iTunes and save to phone?
man you gotta get with the times, CD player was deleted in 2019

My 22 without AS drives better than my 19 with AS did. I dont miss it. my 19 on the interstate had a constant back and forth with the wheel to stay straight. I had it aligned 10 times(im exaggerating here a bit) trying to get it to drive good. also look up youtube videos for when AS fails.

Since Ford stopped taking SD orders on 4/1 it doesn't really hurt Ford to let people "build" their vehicles with all options to play with. They could even gather info to help them determine what to offer on the MY23 whenever that happens.
at the rate Ford is deleting options from the F150, I speculate this will transfer to the 23 SD so youre going to be missing a lot of options come 23 SD time. THIS IS PURELY SPECULATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While killing time eagerly awaiting my truck to enter production, I was looking through the info about my ordered truck on the Ford tracking site. I noticed that the “Tremor w/ black package” is listed under Packages.
I didn’t order the Tremor Package. I did order the off-road package to get the skid plates and better suspension and the black appearance package.
Does anyone know why it would be listed like that? When I look at the trucks body, it clearly says FX4 not Tremor.
Dont worry theres lots of errors on that thing. the window sticker is the end all be all not that thing.

I spent the first half of my career flying in and out of Newark a few times a year. On Good Friday 2000 I had a 4 pm flight, didn’t board until 7, pushed back and sat on the tarmac until 10 pm. Luckily I’ve only been back a few times the last decade. I hate that place. The delay was due to the chip shortage.

This appears to be the first image of the new Android Automotive Ford is switching to. bye bye Sync

if its just the wifi hotspot, I highly doubt youll miss it. if it effects fordpass for remote start/unlock/lock youll miss that or at least I would. I cant speak for everyone but i use fordpass often.
