  1. It's really cool to see lots of trucks finally making it to scheduling / production. What's frustrating is the manner in which Ford is selecting vehicles to build, apparently order date has very little to do with it. I also believe, and correct me someone if I'm wrong, but trucks that have a lot of options (Tremor, King Ranch, Crew Cab 4x4, etc) are being built before a truck like mine (F-350 7.3L XLT regular cab 4x2 Rapid Red) simply because the profit margin isn't there. I know Ford will get around to building it, I just wish I could see exactly why some get picked over others.
  2. I've been pleased so far with Long Lewis Ford in Hoover, AL. It's a little ways from Texas, for sure, but I ordered my F-350 from them in May, and they've kept me up to date on everything so far. It is my first order of any vehicle, so they were helpful figuring all that out. Apparently they have a pretty big allocation for their region (Atlanta region, I think). Plus they don't do the whole haggle with prices thing, it is what it is. If you want I'll be glad to give you my sales guy's name. Good luck whatever you do!
  3. Here's my details to add to the convo.. Ordered 5/17 from Long Lewis Ford, Hoover, AL, Email confirmation from Ford same day. As of this morning from Ford Marketing, still in "processing", no VIN yet. 2022 F-350 XLT 2WD Regular Cab Rapid Red gray cloth seats 7.3L 3.73 gears Preferred Equip. pkg 613 A SYNC 3 10500 GVWR Package Trailer towing package Roof Clearance Lights Carpet delete Running Boards LED Box Lighting
  4. This is my first post, although been following for several weeks. Won't waste everyone's time giving accolades for all the good info and insight, although it is definitely well appreciated. As far as my order, it is a F-350 XLT regular cab 7.3L, with Sync 3, priority code 19, none of the extra cameras or back up assist that are part of the current delays. Ordered on May 17 from Long Lewis Ford near Birmingham. Got the confirmation email almost immediately, also call Ford Marketing every couple weeks or so, where it remains in " processing", so no VIN yet. The dealer a couple weeks ago seemed confident about getting production info June 24 (today), but we'll see. I have been assuming since mine is a regular cab, it may be of less interest to Ford to produce quickly, when so many other models have a higher margin.
