  1. Three months, 3,300 miles, and a few mods later. A few things still to do but very happy with the SuperCab.
  2. I don’t believe there are any substantial differences between those model years. And if it makes you feel any better my second truck is a 2011 F250 with the 6.2(first model year) with 267k. The truck starts, runs and drives perfect. It’s no turbo diesel but gets the job done and I enjoy driving it
  3. So you are confusing the drag link with the track bar. The track bar centers the front axle under the truck. When you change the ride height the axle will be pulled off center which is why you will need to lower it via a drop bracket or replace it with one that is adjustable or already configured for the amount of lift you are installing. The drag link is already adjustable and will be used to re center your steering wheel. The drag link and track bar need to function in parallel or you will have bump steer. Also with only three inches - some of which will be lost by the weight of the winch bumper - doesn’t leave much room for 13.5x37 tires. You will have to be careful with wheel selection. Definitely positive offset with about 5 inch back spacing. I said all that to say this - don’t reinvent the wheel. If you look up the reputable suspension companies they all have kits ready to go and list what size tire fits with what wheel size and offset Good luck my friend.
  4. Was on patrol today and was quite surprised to see a transport roll into town with my truck on it. Totally out of the blue and two weeks early. It was a great experience to follow it to the dealer and watch it get offloaded. The Ford tracker still says eta 9.15! Hum, seems to be an issue uploading photos. I’ll try again tomorrow.

  6. My truck is built and getting a sun bath somewhere waiting to ship. The interesting thing is the premium toolbox disappeared from the thumbnail photo of the truck and from the accessory list. The window sticker and price have stayed the same even though the date on the window sticker updated 8.13.21. I don’t know if my truck is coming with the accessory tool box or not. Anyone else seeing this or have any information? Thanks.
  7. Monroney is the window sticker. In a previous life in Nor Cal I was a Ford master tech. Now I’m doing well to remember that much!
  8. That’s probably a big part of it Dewbs. The dealer said everything up here goes by rail to Spokane and then gets trucked back. An interesting side note is that my monroney sticker said convoy when it was first viewable but recently changed to rail. Don’t know if that means anything other than exactly what it said. At any rate thanks for the reply and I hope Floods is right and the truck beats the ETA…by a lot!
  9. If your truck is a DRW the clearance lights are a DOT requirement due to width so the truck could not be built without them. As far as the second part and you have a SRW, it shouldn’t delay anything on an unscheduled order. I made two changes on mine, first the paint color, and then added heated steering wheel after the 22 build and price came online. Neither change affected the projected build week shown in the Dealer’s visibility report. Course I’m still waiting so what do I know?!
  10. Hello everyone. New member from Montana as of about ten minutes ago. I have been content to just read all of the discussion - especially facts put out by Ice Capades and others- and learn, until today. On 4.16.21 I ordered a 2022 F350 SRW SCLB Lariat 6.7 w/Value Package, GN prep, spray-in liner, mud flaps, tool box, and inner fender liners. Had a great order experience from my local small town dealer, a good deal on my 2011 F250 (260k mile) trade-in, and have been kept in the loop in the meantime. Received my order confirmation email from Ford, no complaints anywhere and I was prepared to wait. Anyway, received the Scheduled for Production email on 7.20.21 and could view my monroney a few days later. Build week of 8.2.21. So everything right on track and based on what I had gathered in seeing some of the recently built/shipped trucks from members here, I thought I might see the truck by the end of the month (August). Some of the members trucks I saw recently were shipping out a week after built. Nope, my timeline was updated today with an In Production of 8.8.21 and an Estimated Dealer Delivery of 9.29.21. Dang it! I know the off site accessories slow it down a bit but still wasn't expecting that timeline! Still not complaining (much) but will have to adjust my mindset a bit. Is anyone else seeing a protracted dealership delivery ETA from production (in this case 51 days)? Maybe it is strictly a shipper issue? I don't know. I hope this thread starter was alright as the Orders and Discussions thread was at 53 pages. I'm sure the Moderator will let me know. Thanks for letting me chime in, say Hello from Montana, and apologize in advance if I violated forum decorum or rules.
