  1. They’re definitely digital breadcrumbs.  I looked this afternoon and they dot the road to work.  However, they don’t show up everywhere I drive, so I’m not sure how it decides what to mark and what to ignore.

The first image is my drive to work, I park left of the circle.  The second image shows my driveway with a collection of dots on my garage.  I drive past the garage and back in, and the dots show my path goes past the garage.

  2. I only see them at locations where I’m off a mapped road.  Since I don’t really go off road, I’m talking about my house and large parking lots.  That’s why I guessed ‘breadcrumbs.’

I actually spent yesterday looking at the Mach E forums and this morning on the Gen 14 150 forums seeing if anybody had commented about them over there, but no luck.

  3. Shoot, there goes that theory.

The only place I’ve seen them is at my house and at the dealership. I noticed them around the dealership when I picked up the car. I thought it was showing other Lincolns

I'm curious where people like him learn about all the features and functionality because I cannot find a user guide for Sync 4 anywhere. No one at Ford/Lincoln can answer my question here. Does anyone know what these red circles are that only appear at my house on my navigation screen?

I think they’re digital ‘breadcrumbs’. They’re to help find your way back if you go off road.

I’m not 100% sure though. I asked my salesman at delivery and he didn’t know either. Probably not used often by the typical Lincoln buyer but could be really useful if you take your Bronco out into the wilderness.

Fair enough ! Question if you know, how long was it from time of Build completion / release, to time it arrived at the dealer ?  ( Looks like Pugmire's lot )

I put all my dates on page 1 of this thread.

It took 30 days. I never received a shipped notification from Lincoln. Tracking website went from built directly to final prep.

Definitely the longest wait from built to delivered of several Navigators I was tracking besides my own.

Why a week, if you don't mind my asking.

It arrived late Friday so they won’t have prep done until Tuesday at the earliest.

My evenings are busy this week, and I don’t want them rushing.  I’ve rushed the dealer prep on 2 cars before and the results weren’t great.  One car got scratched.  On my current car, I was finding little bits of white plastic protective film inside and out for months after I picked it up.  I told them to take their time and I’ll see you on Saturday.

Not holding my breath on this one, but it was nice to have a little communication. Even if the email was sent on the 19th ? @Xraymd-  did you receive an update?

Yep.  Mine came on the 16th and gave a new delivery window of the 15th-21st. Just like you, the first day of the window had already passed.

No way it’s happening though.  Probably just a dumb algorithm.

As you know, ours were built the same day or a day apart, maybe. Mine is at Fair Oaks Lincoln as we speak just waiting for the reacquire paperwork to get sorted out. There has to be some sort of commodity issue holding up shipment for you. Your dealer should be able to find out what it is, I would think. Maybe you have posted in the Timeline thread about it, I can't recall.

Dealer doesn’t know what’s up and says it could be a parts hold.  Lincoln concierge says it’s produced and waiting to ship.  Xraytek22 and I seem to be stuck at the same point in the process.

Cyberdman looked up Xraytek22 earlier and the hold up was “Convoy Delay”, so a transportation issue and apparently not a parts issue.

But of course, who knows.  Communication is terrible.

Xraytek22 is in Tennessee, I’m in Ohio.  It looks like the rail yard my truck will go to is in SE Michigan.  I see you’re in Illinois and someone else in Illinois with either an Expedition or Navigator (I lost track) with a production date after us has an imminent delivery.

I don’t know why CSX would be shipping to Illinois and not Ohio or Tennessee, but here we are.
