I took delivery on my F450 Limited on 2/22/22....guess I'll never forget that date!! The tracking site never changed after the Built date was shown and I never received an email after Ford let me know my final Scheduled for Production week. I received the following emails from Ford thru the process. 6/26/21 - Order Confirmed 11/16/21 - Scheduled for Production - week of 1/19 1/19/22 - Scheduled for Production changed to week of 1/31 Other highlights of my process: Was asked to sign a buyers agreement on 7/29. I think this had to do something with the COVP process. Was told by the sales manager on 9/16 that best case would be a delivery by the end of the year. My Estimated Delivery date did change one time from 2/21 to 2/19 on the tracking site. My salesman called me to let me know it had been delivered to them on the day I picked it up. Also, the MSRP price on the sticker included the price increase from the time I ordered in June. The dealership removed those increases from my final purchase price, which was an X-plan price. It was a long process, but worth it in the end. The truck is awesome. It's just a crazy world we live in right now. Hopefully everyone will get their truck soon.

I send that doc as well as the one from the August, since my original purchase date was in June. Both docs are on page 197 of this thread. Once they saw I had those docs....they changed their mind and are now allowing price protection from the price in June. Not really much they could say at that point.

That may be true....but my dealer wasn't going to give price protection until I forwarded the documents on this forum stating the price protection. So if I hadn't been following this forum....I would have be screwed.

My truck is currently In Production, after ordering it on 6/28/21. I wanted to make sure on the price protection so I emailed my salesman and he indicated I was most likely going to be charged the price increases. I then forwarded him the documents in this forum and was then told I WOULD be price protected. It's really sad for those people that don't know to follow forums like this that they are probably getting screwed. Thanks for those people on here doing the heavy lifting for the rest of us.
