  1. I used hybred solutions ceramic coat within days of getting my truck. The finish is as good as Ive ever seen. There is also a hybred solutions ceramic detailer. Both are easy to use. I applied a 2nd coat after 6 months but it didnt really need it. The finish feels as soft as a mink coat.

  2. I have the b&w turn over hitch and the b&w companion non slider 5th wheel. These are installed on my 22 f250. My truck is the 6.75 box and Im pulling a 22 jayco eagle ht trailer. I have experienced no issues backing into tight camping spots. I see no reason for a slider at least in my case.

  3. I had a similar issue after I plugged into the bed mounted plug. What I found was a loose connection on the wiring harness where the y was plugged into the truck harness causing intermittent weak connection. I never lost complete connection but an extended brake application threw a right rear trailer brake light fault. I took all the connections apart applied connection grease and my problems disappeared.  The loose connection was directly behind the spare. I had to lower the spare.

My build date moved back to 5/30.   Memorial Day.  Not sure how to feel about that as I don't do my best work on either side of a holiday weekend.

At any rate, it is starting to feel real.   Has anyone figured out how to protect the carpet in the back seat from dogs?   I have 4 labs that go with me everywhere, and I'd prefer if they didn't stink up the truck immediately.   To fit them I pretty much keep the rear seat folded up so they have more room   My current set up was available from weather tech and has worked really well for the past 3+ years but they don't offer anything for the 2020 SD with the fold down storage.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I have the factory back mat which covers up to the storage.throw a carpet runner of the correct size over the rubber mat. I have a couple of dog beds thrown in also.

I made a bag out of boat top material to cover the seat back over the top of my seat covers. I also put side covers on the back doors to protect the window ledge.

All of this can be removed when you arent hauling the pups taking the stink out of the truck.

    Hi all,

So the SuperDuty I ordered has finally reached the dealer and I think I'm going to be able to run down and get it only to find it's been recalled for the "Reprogram Integrated Trailer Relay Module."  The dealer told me there is no time estimate on when this will or can get done and I don't really have any more information.

Updating the module sounds like they plug it in to something and tell it to update.  Is there anything more to it?  It looks like it's a new recall but should I expect this to delay when I can pick up my truck?

In all honesty I have to fly to pick it up from an out of state dealer and have a window in just under two weeks that would work.  I read the remedy description and it sounds like there is not a lot to it and technically can go to any dealership to have the work done.

The dealer told me they want to make sure everything is good with my truck before they deliver it to me, which I respect, but do they have to do the work or can they let it go knowing I'll have it done at a home dealership?

    Thanks for the input.

Mine was built 11/20 2021. I just talked to my dealer today, no recall as of yet.

Did the chair get a work out as a step stool to the engine bay?

I was doing some environmentally unfriendly things over the weekend to a friends 2019 F250 6.7L. I bought this work platform below from HF and it was a perfect height for the engine work we were doing.

I have one of those. No I didnt use the chair as a step. Just a cheap walmart thing. The platform is nice but I still have to use a ladder to reach the roof and Im 6'.

@buckstop515 I purchased the same lights from them. I can’t wait to get the rig so I can put them on

Do yourself a favor and just remove the grill and passenger headlight. In the long run it saves time. The lower bolt on the headlight is a 13mm. Also run your wiring in front of the radiator and into the sideby your air box. The instructions are pretty poor.

  8. I just installed the Raptor Style grill lights from custom auto works on my 22 xlt 250

Pretty straight forward install. I did remove my grill and passenger side head light to make the install easier. I plugged in the wiring harness to the parking light which besides running with heads on also lights up the front when leaving the vehicle until it times out. Great product at a reasonable price.

  9. I even asked for a copy of the order. They sent me a order review form not the actual order. The only reason I ever knew that the truck had been ordered was I found the dealer order code and some other detail that allowed me to find the truck in fords system. As it turned out the seating was not what I wanted. I wanted the console And they ordered the 40/20/40 bench. Glad I got the truck I wanted.

  10. My tt tongue sits level at 19.5" to the top of the socket. My 22 f250 cc 10.000 lb. With 2" drop set at about 25" to top of ball. I ordered a 6" Curt drop shank for my curt weight distribution head. I havent installed it yet, but from looking it will be perfect. I also added timbren bumper stops to reduce any squat if there is any.

  11. I ordered a truck from a corwin owned dealership. After 3 weeks and numerous calls to confirm my order, and no contact from ford, I went to another dealer and ordered. I recieved a nearly instant response from ford and the next day a vin and production date. I do know corwin  got the first order in, 1 day before my 2nd order. My second order took 58 days from order to delivery. I think corwin was happy I didnt take the truck. Im a x plan buyer so their profit margin jumped tremendously.

I was leaning towards the Stone Gray, but I couldn't find a truck locally that I could see the color. When I was at the dealer I came across a Rapid Red with the Stone gray two tone and it sold me!

Rapid Red is a nice color. However I just as soon not have the favorite choice of everybody else. It would be like owning a white suv.

Rapid red was my choice as well. Struggled between Stone gray and RR, compromised with RR and SG as the two tone. SG was getting to close to old man gold! I don't want to be called old man yet, even though 60 is poking me in the back!

Back when the order spread sheet was working the 2 colors most chosed were rapid red and anti matter. Race red was the least chosen. I had a stone gray and it was the easiest color to keep clean I ever owned.
