  1. I have a 2022 F350 Superduty Platinum 6.7L PSD that I use to pull my 5th wheel. There is a recall on the trailer brake controller that my dealer fixed. However, I still get an error that will pop up on my dash that says Trailer Wire Fault and will say my trailer is disconnected, when it is still connected. I have checked the trailer wire to make sure it is well seated. I have found that other people will get a blinker issue that seems similar. When I get the fault, I don't have brakes on the trailer anymore, however, all my lights and blinkers still work. It seems that this is connected to the recall, but it doesn't seem that anyone at the dealer knows what to do. They keep blaming the trailer, but I never had this issue until I got the new truck. Anyone else have this issue when using the 7 pin on their 2022 superduty, or know of a fix? Thanks,

  3. I have been trying to find information about this topic, but this seems to be a black hole in the internet. I am new to the diesel engine scene with this new truck I am about to pick up. I have an F350 Platinum 6.7L PSD that I ordered and that I am close to picking up. I know that I will be asked at the dealership about the extended warranty and the maintenance plan. I also know those are negotiable in price. Additionally, I know that diesel trucks take a different maintenance requirement than the old trusty gas guzzler. So, my question is what is the typical cost of a regular maintenance visit at a dealership? Also, what is a reasonable price to pay for a prepaid maintenance plan? TIA
  4. FINALLY!!!!!!!!! Just got my email this morning from Ford that my truck has been shipped. The estimated delivery date is January 10th. I'm glad I was one of the ones that had a shorter wait than most. I ordered on April 8th, so I was just at a 9 month delivery period from order date. I know, I know, they didn't start building until July, so the real wait was even shorter. Merry Christmas to everyone.
  5. I got my window sticker this morning from my dealer. I feel so much better now that the sticker is available. It has only been 8 months. I did notice the base price increase between my build sheet and the sticker. I think the price on my build sheet is the price my dealer is going on.
  6. I'm in the same boat as you. Ordered 4/8, have had several build weeks. Last actual build day was back in November and got bumped to next week. Supposedly getting built next Thursday, 12/16, but still no window sticker. Looks like the wait will continue. Now I am hoping to get it before next March.
  7. Thought I would throw this out there for those that had to wait a few months from their order to make you feel better for yourself. I ordered a 2022 F350 6.7 SRW, UTT, MR, Quad Beam, Adaptive Cruise, Tailgate Step, 5th Wheel Prep, WW Liner, and AS on 4/8. In early August, I asked my dealer to remove the AS, but he said he couldn't since it had already been given a build week. After almost 8 weeks, I finally got him to remove the AS at the end of September. When he removed AS from my order, my pricing changed on the order sheet to reflect Ford's increase in the base model pricing. My first build week date was the week of September 20. I have been given 8 changes to my build week. I thought I was having progress as on November 1st, I was given the build week of November 15 with an actual build day of November 19th (build day provided by my dealer). I haven't had an email from Ford since November 1st, but my dealer informed me that my build week is now December 13th with no assigned build day. I continue to see trucks on the Super Duty tracking spreadsheet get moved from In Order Processing with the same specs that I now have that were even ordered after I made the change to the AS and my truck continues to get moved further down the line. To add on top of it, I ordered a 5th Wheel 2 weeks after I ordered my truck. The 5th wheel came in back in August, but now is winterized for the year. I don't need the new truck now until March, but now my concern is that I may or may not (if it gets cancelled) get a 2022 truck towards the end of the model year. I have ordered many vehicles from this dealer and feel like I have been taken care of. The sales manager has told me that he hopes to never have to experience these productions issues ever again. Oh to add to the frustrations, I was given a PCO for $2000 that expired September 30th. I mentioned it to the Sales Manager, which he said he saw I had. He said he applied it to my order, so I hope that when it finally comes in (if it ever does) that it is on the order. To us unlucky ones, Happy Waiting!
  8. I have been following this thread for months now, when this was just a couple pages of discussion. I ordered my truck April 8th. F350 Diesel Platinum and took off AS at the end of September. I have been scheduled for the week of November 15th after being moved around several times. I reached out to my sales guy and asked if I had a scheduled date and was told it is November 19th, which is the Friday that week. I don't see a window sticker yet. I am sure it has been asked, but I can't seem to remember where and haven't been able to find it through searching some key words, but since I have a scheduled day and not just the week, does that mean that it will be built that day?
