  1. To start off I want to thank you for your help when I was waiting on my 22 F250 and getting the standard run around or BS answer for Stealership. You have been a big player in helping everyone through all this mess that Ford wants to claim as “The New Normal”.

Sorry to hear they are making you leave. Guessing they have or will hire someone younger with no knowledge of Fords or how things work, for less money so they can pocket more for themselves.

  2.  I have a 22 F-250 Lariat.  My little dog goes everywhere with me.  I went to security settings in the dashboard screen and set to “Perimeter Only”.  But it only holds that setting for one cycle of ignition, then it resets to All Alarms.  So I set to Ask on Exit but I don’t always remember to set it to Perimeter.  Why would Ford design this system where it won’t hold preference.  Lot of guys drive with their pets.  Has anyone found a way to shut off interior sensors permanently?

I did not get the tremor package. Is this saying it's included in my truck? I don't understand why it is on the list.

Do trust the tracker.  Towards the end of November Ford closed a back door that several sites used to track vehicles that was much more informative than Ford’s Broke Ass Tracker.  When they did that almost all trucks show up with the Tremor Discounts, but it doesn’t mean a thing.

Ordered 2022 F250 XL late September.  Did not drop the spray in bedliner (wishing now I would have) from the order. Supposedly, the truck is scheduled for production this week. Does it then have to wait in line for spray in bedliner?

If your truck is built this week it will go across the road to GFX (Ground Effects) and bed liner will be sprayed within a day or two.  Then returned back to KTP for final inspection then shipped.  When it is scheduled for build/production all “add ons” are scheduled too.  Mine was built on Dec 13 and GFX did bed liner, 5th wheel prep and tonneau installed and sent back to KTP on the 15th.  Then it sat at plant until the 31st for “Chip”.  Shipped Jan 4, ETA 1Feb.

Your dealer wants to charge $450 over MSRP - time for a new dealer.

I got same as I paid for my 2016 F-350 DRW 6.7 and a couple of thousand below MSRP. All agreed and signed at the time of order.

Joshkbird: My Stealership owns 3 of the 4 Ford dealerships in the state. They wouldn’t go below MSRP but they had no problems giving me my X-Plan ( which saves me about 4k) and working with Regional Rep on honoring my, now expired PCO for 3k and giving me my $500 military. It would cost me a lot more to order from one of the dealerships below MSRP as I would have to fly down to pick up, then arrange shipping from Seattle to Anchorage and fly back home. But if they charged you over MSRP to order, it is time to look for new dealer. Just my 2 cents.

Anyone know what day they update window stickers? I have scheduling for week of January 31st.... wondering if the window sticker will pop up before Thursday.

Normally about a week before your build week the Ford tracker will change to In Production. The next day your window sticker should be available.

Agree with the steal part and definitely hoping the Service Dept has their wits about them. Truck is going in to get ceramic coated and windows tinted on Monday at a different facility then when I pick it up mid-week it goes back to the dealer for the repairs. Hopefully, I might actually get to use my truck by the end of January!  ?

Has your truck made it to Washington yet?

It did make it to Kent WA but I was told it didn’t make the ship to Alaska.  Hoping it makes Tuesdays and I might get to take possession in about 9 days.

It's finally a done deal!! 174 days since placing my order in July 2021 for my F-250 Lariat SCSB with 5th wheel prep, spray-in bedliner, HCTT, UTT and Lariat Value. The stealership agreed to "discount" the price increases which meant they didn't get added into the taxable total and corrected the truck cost for my purposes. Then we arm-wrestled over the trade value until reaching a less-than-desirable number for me. And eventually on Jan 19th I signed the paperwork and took it home. After driving it 15 miles to get to my house and with only 36 miles on the meter, I discovered the rear parking brake cable half rubbed through on the leaf spring and the water separator drain plug leaking diesel fuel on my garage floor. Good times!! Thought I would share a couple of pics. Gotta love that Atlas Blue!!!

Glad to see you finally got it.  It suck that the stealership tried that BS and still got away with part of the Steal.  And to make it worse it needs work already.  Hopefully the Service Dept is better than the Sales Dept.

Apologies if asked and previously answered as this thread is huge and sort of all over the map, newbie here.

Getting conflicting info on admin fees when reading ‘How the plan works’ FAQ’s:

The answer to question 21 reads,

“…customers using the X-Plan Program do not pay dealer admin fees, which may be an additional cost on alternative price points.”

    Then question 24 states:

….”dealers permitted to to assess up to $100 in doc fees(state dependent)…..“ “How does this change the $275 admin fee?
-There is no change. The $275 admin fee covers the cost of managing the New Vehicle Purchase Program.”

So is the $275 Admin fee applicable, or not under the X-Plan?

TIA. Learned a ton on this site in 24 hours since joining. Will be purchasing my third Ford truck in a row in about a month. Wished I would’ve joined years ago.

Does the tracker move to “in production” before they release the window sticker? I still show “order confirmed” status.

Yes, normally.  Once truck is “Sent to Plant” ie In Production status your tracking will change to In Production and normally Window Sticker will show up the following day.  Then the date at bottom (in white margin) will change about every 7 days, but that dat means nothing.

I can't wait for the part where the salesman asks me to give him and the dealership a Five Star review. I'm going to bite my lip to keep from laughing at him.

I felt the same way when I bought my wife’s new Ranger. Salesman didn’t do anything but give everything to Sales manager and refused to budge a penny on anything. Then F&I guy tried to rape us on ESP ($5600 vs $1475 at Flood). And told me he was loosing money on it. So I just deleted the review emails.

  12. Tracking the truck after shipping is worse than info from Ford.  Not just Jack Cooper.    CSX has no information on railcar, UP has said the same info since 7 February and that is on way to Fairfax KS with no other info. I was told CSX would track car even after it was handed over to UP or any other rail line.    VVR last updated on 7 February showing truck in Blue Island, IL.  I was told the VVR no longer get updated for each stop.  They can only guess when it will make it to Kent WA for transfer to ship.

Thanks! I can’t find where to post to that thread. Maybe once you have the required number of post it will show up. I’m new here.

You need 15 post to be able to ask.  But should be a Red Button on right side “Start New Topic”. Just read the top post.

That’s what I keep hearing. I have no clue how to find it when my dealer acts clueless and the customer service says they can’t see that info.

Go to this link, just ensure you follow the rules and you have the number of required post within the BOF site.  As you are trying to find your VIN make sure you have your dealer number and your order number.  https://blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/forum/80-vehicle-locator-by-ford-employees/
