  1. Well guys, finally got my email this morning. scheduled for production March 14. I know I still got a while to go before seeing the thing, but it’s nice to have a VIN and update now. Original order date was 8/13 email shows original truck ordered. I have since changed options and trim level. We’ll see which truck actually shows up, or when the window sticker populates! good luck to everyone else! I hope this means more people will get scheduled ”think happy thoughts”
  2. I think im buying this post correctly?! F250 Platinum CC SRW 6.7L Sales Code:F48419 Order Code:3391 order date: 8/13 Last change: 11/18 Called dealer and they don't have/or know how to check on order. they're not even positive the changes I requested actually got changed. So I guess im saying thank you so much for being so helpful to me and so many other people on here
  3. im in the same boat as you my guy. still haven't heard anything about my build. starting to give up on ever even seeing it. fingers crossed tho. if they do transition to 23MY, im hoping they convert and start with the backlogged 22MY first
  4. I had this package on my old truck. They have regular 250 springs and what I thought of as a “floater spring” I.e. the truck didn’t use it for normal driving until I put a load on the truck then it made contact with the floater spring. This helped a lot with the weight distribution and not making the rear end of my truck squat a lot. I compare this to my buddies truck without the high capacity package and his definitely squatted more, where as mine just sat level. As far as the axle goes, I was told that the “upgraded” axle is changed from a sterling(normal 250) to a Dana axle(high capacity) which is the same axle that they use on the 350. I was also told that the Dana axle is more reliable and lasts longer (again I’m not an expert, just sharing what I’ve been told) I opted for the high capacity on my new build because I like knowing it’s there and the ride isn’t any rougher with the package. In all honesty I liked it better than my buddies under a load (less bounce from the weight) I hope this helps
  5. its become a ritual for me when I come home from work every night now. open up the forums and see what's going on today! some days its fun to see everyone getting what we've been waiting for, then other days I wanna throw my computer across the living room haha
  6. its crazy how its going, im trying to remain as patient as possible haha. luckily you got to drive one! thats about the same time I ordered mine too 8/13. well see when, im still awaiting a vin and schedule too
  7. Beautiful Truck! Thats exactly what mine will look like but I opted for the black interior, I still can't get behind the reddish interior. Happy he got his truck, gives me hope
  8. I searched and searched for this on my 19 250 and couldn’t find it. That would be sweet if it’s an option on the 22s.
  9. I just rebuilt mine online. Platinum 250 and it shows the same increase in price. glad I ordered mine before the price hike!
  10. Thanks again for all your guys help, and the info you provide! I hope I do this right’ F250 Platinum CC SRW 6.7L Sales Code:F48419 Order Code:3391 order date: 8/13 Last change: 11/18 Thanks so much in advance!
  11. I have been hearing alot about ceramic tinting lately... not totally sure or fully understand the difference between normal and ceramic tint. but I was also thinking about ceramic coating my Truck when it comes in. does anyone have experience with that? Im definitely getting it Krown coated, probably right after I leave the dealer lot
  12. that's a beautiful truck! I actually almost had one identical to that. the guy that ordered it showed up and wasn't impressed with the color. he initially decided to pass on it and I was next on the list if he did. but of course the next morning he called and decided he wanted it after all. it was back to the waiting game for me again..... all good things come in time right?
  13. Yeah when I used to have a fifth wheel it was impossible to set up at night without the windows down. But definitely worth the downside of that when rolling around during the day. I’m just not sure if 20% is gonna drive me crazy
  14. What are everyones thoughts about tint? I usually just run 35% on the fronts of my trucks, but this time I was thinking a little darker, adding more like 20% all around and 50% on the windshield. Anybody have thoughts? I know I definitely don't want 5% Whats it like when you have windshield tinted, ridiculous?
