  1. I have to admit that I'm a bit tired of it, too. I'm in my 13th month of waiting since my '22 order was never scheduled.
  2. I was notified on 12/1 that my production date is the week of 1/30. Amazing how slowly the days can pass when you're anxiously awaiting something...
  3. Cool. No "Scheduled for Production" email for me, either. Someone posted somewhere that Ford isn't sending those emails this time around. Maybe too many missed dates and reschedules. I did get the "Order Confirmed" email. The next one might be the "In Production" email. Maybe they'll give us some info in the promised "45 day" email. I'm not holding my breath, though.
  4. You're talking about this. I don't know what it means. It kind of looks like some of the Near-Field Communication symbols I've seen, but I haven't seen anywhere that the SD's are using it. This picture is from here.
  5. I'm happy to finally report that I got scheduled this week for a Lariat Ultimate with a build week of 1/23. It was a '22 rollover order, so it's been 51 long weeks of waiting. I hope that it holds as Job1. I also hope that it comes with the heated steering wheel...
  6. You can (and should) order a King Ranch right now. The order bank is open now and will likely close soon. They just won't schedule/build it until Job2
  7. Pretty much impossible to tell if that's good or not. Depends on how your dealer handles their queue. If everyone else is a priority 10, then 13 isn't so great. If everyone else it at 19, then 13 is good. I was a priority 2, which is set by the regional manager (and as high of a priority as you can normally get), for 9 months with my '22 order and never got scheduled, so be prepared to wait.
  8. That's ridiculous. I just passed my 11 month anniversary and I've been a priority2 since March.
  9. I would think that the '22 balance out needs to happen very soon (maybe this week?). I did see trucks getting scheduled last week, though. I'm still unscheduled and it's annoying (painful, actually) to see all these '23 orders going in while we sit it out. I remember seeing that scheduling for the '23s will start in November, so the changeover needs to happen.
  10. From what I've read, dealers have been told how many '23s they will be allocated, so as soon as your dealer reaches their allocation, they're done for the year. That could be tomorrow or sometime after Job2 opens up in February.
  11. I'm wondering if they will disclose the engine info by the time the order banks open. How would I know if I want to order a 6.7HO or not... Do they usually have that info available by the time you can order?
  12. That would make the most sense. That way, Ford would know how many outstanding orders they have on the books. I'm planning on ordering a Platinum (actually re-ordering an unscheduled '22) and the thought of having to wait until February to order worried me a bit.
  13. I've read in multiple places that Ford won't accept an order for the higher trim levels until February, with production starting in April.
  14. I've got a '22 order that hasn't been scheduled, so I should be near the front of the list for Granger. I guess there's one scheduling day left (since they aren't scheduling this week) and I don't see myself getting scheduled on the last day. I want to keep my Platinum order and it'll be a real bummer if Ford won't even accept the order until February. I'll be highly tempted to look elsewhere.
  15. I'll most likely be ordering a '23 due to my '22 order not being scheduled. With no SD scheduling next week, I can't see how it can happen. I'd like to stick with my Platinum order, but I suspect that the Platinum is a trim level that won't be available until the spring. I'm guessing it'll be next May or June, at best, before it might show up. That would put it at a year longer than I originally expected. I have to admit that I'm getting less and less excited about buying a new truck. The world was a whole different place when I ordered last December.
  16. I'm not sure I believe that. I suspect (but don't know) that they get most of the parts to build new vehicles via rail.
  17. I'm at 9 months. The problem I see is that if we all have to re-order as a '23, we'll all be "at the front of the line" with 100k other orders and we'll be stuck in the same situation where we don't get scheduled for who knows how long. I guess that I've been at the front of the line at my dealer since March as a Priority 2, so that hasn't really helped...
  18. Hello, I ordered an F350 back in December that hasn't been scheduled. I changed the order to an F450 on 8/15. Does that reset my order date to 8/15? I care only because I don't want to lose my place in line if it has to be converted to a '23. I guess it's water under the bridge at this point, but I'm curious. The dealer put me back to a priority2 after the order change, but it's been that way since March and obviously hasn't helped.
  19. First time poster, but long time "waiter". Sorry if you've gone over this before, but I haven't seen it asked. I'm quickly losing confidence that my order will be scheduled for MY22. Do know how Ford might handle a PCO when my order has a price level of 240 and the the latest is 270? Do they typically cover all of the price increases from the original order or just the latest MY22 level to the first MY23 level? Thanks, Kevin
