  1. Ordered 1 June 21 Delivered 13 April 22 WORTH THE WAIT!!!!!
  2. 10 months 13 days and Jackpot……the ford angels have sang.
  3. Ordered 1 June 2021 Rapid Red F-250 Lariat 7.3L gasser Tremor with Blackout package and Lariat Ultimate packages. Moonroof, Winch, Upfitter, Vehicle Safe, UTT Camera Pro Trailer Backup, Rain sensing, Adaptive Cruise, Splash Guards, Garage door opener, Hood Deflector, Floor Mat and no carpet. Truck was built week before last and shipped. It’s sitting in a train yard in Saint Louis. Dealership stated is roughly a month before they receive it. Assuming this is accurate, I will have been waiting 10 Months and 2 weeks. It took Ford around 9 months to build my truck I’ve noted a lot of folks upset that the truck they order isn’t scheduled for production yet. Patients and due diligence is the mandate if you want a new truck from Ford or any other vehicle manufacturer. More than likely this is the new norm. I’m super stoked that there’s movement forward. It’s been a long haul. The dealership here in Wyoming has been true their word every step of the way. I went down this week and worked out the financial stuff and the dealership never wavered on the agreed 10 month price quote price and my trade in value. For those of you complaining about production time stop you damn whining . A lot of us have been waiting for almost a year. Talk your your dealer…..if they won’t help…….find another dealer. I highly encourage all who are considering or have recently ordered a super duty to read these forums……especially the remarks from ice capades. Hope this helps.
  4. At first it was the A/S and tonneau cover I dropped them in August. At the time you couldn’t opt out of the bed liner without opting out of the BOP. I refused to drop the BOP. So the long wait commenced. I’m just grateful I finally got a build date. I knew going in this was going to a test of patience and endurance. It is what it is.

  6. Great news and progress. After 277 days I received my window sticker. The duration was a expected and understood. For those who have recently ordered please understand that you are in for a wait. All the computers and I.T. on the planet will not change the fact that parts and commodities are strained. You can blame it on what ever makes you feel better but in the end you will wait…..just like everyone else. For the record and curious I ordered 1 June 21. F250 Rapid Red Lariat 7.3 Gas Tremor, BOS, Ultimate, Moonroof, Winch, Safe, Adaptive Cruise, Upfitter, Rain Sensing Wipers, vinyl, Ultimate Trailer Tow, Splash Guards, Garage Door, and hood deflector. I expect it will be 1 or 2 months before it shows up at my dealers. That would make the entire process very close to a year. It’s conceivable and realistic to think that Ford will shorten this waiting time for future orders based on availability of parts and commodities. Just not this year. Every major manufacturer is going thru similar issues. For real insight and understanding of how the process works and what to expect follow ice capades threads. The man knows his !#$&. I appreciate the fact that Ford does not prioritize build trucks based on the price tag. If your believe your entitled to your truck first because you paid more than the rest of us then your a damn fool and part of what’s wrong in this country. For those who are still waiting patiently with the rest of us……hang in there and stay the course. Your truck will be built.
  7. We all are getting kicked down the proverbial production line every Friday…..I the new norm…..I take comfort in knowing I’m not the only one. Been on hold since 1 June. It is what it it is. Enjoy the patience ride…..there’s not a damn thing that can be done that isn’t already being done.
  8. I’m scheduled the same week…..no window sticker yet. F250 Lariat ultimate Tremor and BOP, winch, safe, uppfitter, 7.3 gasser. Ordered June 1st. Build weeks 28 Feb, 7 March and now 14 March.
  9. Well I’ve joined to pushed back club as well for the third time. Order placed 1 June 2021. F250 Godzilla Lariat Ultimate Rapid Red Tremor and Blackout package. Winch, Moonroof, no carpet, Adaptive Cruise, Upfitter and Universal Garage. Dropped the AS and tonneau in August trying to get scheduled. Received the first email from Ford in June confirming order. Received a second email In January showing a build date and VIN for the week of 28 February. Just received my forth email last night slipping the build date to the week of 14 March. The dealership I’m purchasing this truck from has been very up front and honest from the very beginning. They had thought at least 6 to 8 months. It’s looking like 9 to 11 moths is now the new reality. I’ve read many threads over the months that some folks are getting trucks sooner that others. I get frustrated when I see truckers being built ahead of mine but must continue to remind myself that the more bells and whistles I ordered the longer the wait. Some folks have cancelled orders only to find out that ALL vehicle manufacturers are having the same issues. If you’ve followed and listened ice capades threads over the last year then none of this should be surprising. It’s the new norm for retail orders. It impacts buyers, dealers and manufacturers alike. It is what it is. It sucks a lot for everyone. There is rhyme and reason for the delays. The days of instant gratification and new retail vehicle ownership are done for the foreseeable future. You can either enjoy the wait or agonize over it. It’s up to you.
  10. Harry, the be kind and patient comment was not directed at you…..it’s an overall request to keep people real. Apologies if the helps. Having been following this process since May of last year I’ve seen all kinds of crazy stuff. It can really Frustrate a fellow having folks who ordered in December getting there trucks delivered in a few months….especially when the options are darn near similar. ice capades has really been the only real source of real facts. I’ve got a good dealership who has never steered away from the truth no matter the bad news. We all are in this for the long haul or we wouldn’t be here at all. Commodities are in short supply. Ford is doing its best meet demand but this is the new reality for retail truck orders.

  12. I’m on week 38…….have a build date for the week of 7 March. Assuming its build then that will make it week 42. Add delivery anywhere from 30 to 90 days and that will make it 46 to 54 weeks from my original order date. Meaning close or over the 1 year mark. F250 Lariat 7.3 Tremor and Black Out, Winch, safe,Trailer assist . Ultimate with moonroof….No A/S or Tonneau. There’s more that a few of us in the same boat. For those who expect Ford to move you up on the list……they are……as soon as the commodities you ordered become available. Be patient and be kind…..everyone one us want our new trucks too.

Received a second email In January showing a build date and VIN for the week of 28 February. Just received my third email last night slipping the build date to the week of 7 March. Calling customer service was completely fruitless. My only two calls resulted in them trying to sell me another vehicle that they hadn’t built while trying to get a built date for my truck that they hadn’t built. Ford might want to take a look and reconsider this particular sales strategy. The dealership I’m purchasing this truck from has been very up front and honest from the very beginning. 14. That explains it rather well. Many Thanks
  15. There is some confusion between my dealership and the F 250 website as to the exact size of the receiver hitch. I’ve ordered a F250 Lariat with the tremor and blackout package 1 June. The website says 2.5 or 3 inch. Can anyone confirm the actual size. I need to buy the correct hitch. Many Thanks

  18. Ordered 1 June Rapid Red F-250 Lariat 7.3L gasser Tremor with Blackout package and Lariat Ultimate packages. Moonroof, Winch, Upfitter, Vehicle Safe, UTT Camera Pro Trailer Backup, Rain sensing, Adaptive Cruise, Splash Guards, Garage door opener, Hood Deflector, Floor Mat and no carpet.I finally received word from Ford on 13 Jan the my truck has a production date for the week of 28 February. Assuming this is accurate I will have been waiting 9 Months. Based on the threads that ice capades has posted I’m not likely to see the truck for another 6 to 8 weeks forum it’s build date. Assuming this is the case it will have taken 10 to 11 months from my order date. I’ve noted a lot of folks upset that the truck they order isn’t scheduled for production yet. Plain and simple it’s a commodity shortage issue or chip shortage that Ford has been trying to their arms around along with every other vehicle manufacture. For the first time in my life I’ve watched dealerships implode on themselves trying to meet customer demand and sales quotas. They can’t sell what they don’t have. Patients and due diligence is the mandate if you want a new truck from Ford or any other vehicle manufacturer. More than likely this is the new norm. Hope this helps.

  20. Well…..if every major manufacturer of automobiles and those dealerships who sell the major manufacturers automobiles are ALL going thru this as well then? I believe it’s safe to say that if Ford was the only company with these kind of problems then we would all be buy Rams, Chevys, Tundras or GMC’s. So given that we are not buying those “other guy’s “ trucks there must be something that outlines the truth in my original post…….. Close examination and research as to why person A gets beat out by person B is simple……Not the same bells and whistles. For the record I clearly understand your frustration……that being said we have two very simple courses of action. 1. Cancel your order and take your business to another manufacturer…..then get in a new line. 2. Stay in the line your in and wait your turn…..just like everyone else.
  21. I’ve had a 2022 F-250 on order since 1 June. The dealership I am using has been completely above board and transparent from the very beginning. At the time I ordered it the best guess was at least 6 months. Here was the original order: Rapid Red 7.3 Godzilla Tremor Lariat Ultimate Blackout Winch Adaptive Steering Tonneau Cover Up fitter Bed Step No Carpet Console Safe Moonroof A few moths ago I dropped the Adaptive Steering and Tonneau cover in hopes of getting a build date. That didn’t work. I have received one email from Ford showing they have received my order. A phone call to Ford confirmed they had my order and wanted to know If I’d be interested in a new car……that they hadn’t built yet. Ice-capades has been dead on the money about how dealerships and Ford do business. I’ve got the right priority code and regional manager for my area involved in the process. What I don’t have is a new truck. For those of you who ordered within the last couple of months and don’t have a build date ………get in line. The amount of accurate and timely information that ice-capades places in this forum should convince anyone that it’s going to be a long wait. It’s not your dealerships fault and and it’s not Fords fault. It is what is. These are unprecedented times where both tech and commodities are in high demand and shot supply, and Ford can’t always get there hands on them. So enjoy the ride, kick back and wait your turn……like everybody else.
