Just to add to the confusion, Lariat ultimate includes the Tow tech package, and it seems that its still the same price that its always been.

I *think* his wording is misleading. Those numbers are always on order guide, and its more like a share of production. So 10% of all trucks made can be tremors. Which also makes perfect sense that they only expect 8% to be the engine thats only available in the non STX xl models. I think its a way of parts forecasting. For example the explorer guides have percentages of packages within trims. It would make zero sense to state from the beginning (release of order guide) that they cant make everything. And the percentages are not a recent addition to order guides. The give away should be the fact that they follow every constraint item with a sales pitch to their parts department.

Hey everyone. I know this question or a version of has been discussed at length, but I’m just looking for some clarification. I got a PCO email this morning with “order or take delivery by April 3”. I have a 250 on order (ordered day of order banks opening) and an estimated build week 2/20. Obviously if the truck takes less than a month to deliver then it’s easy, but does the offer apply right now because of the in progress order? Going to call dealer today and just want to make sure I know exactly what I’m doing. Thanks!

Are the new tonneaus out or have they just said they're working on them?

Following as I've been wondering the same. Ill probably wait until the truck shows up as I don't trust the estimates. Ill be getting some things third party too (bed cover, steps) and haven't seen anything on other sites either.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but where exactly do the trucks get built? I know the KTP and OHAP are used, but what gets built where? My curiosity wont let me think about anything else

Actually it looks like it is working maybe? If you use the build and price link on the partner site it takes you to 22, but if you then navigate at the top to trucks > super duty > 23 build and price it’s showing the x plan price. I don’t remember the exact price of the option before but the msrp is at least changed.

Do we know for sure that lariat ultimates are job 2? Or are we so far guessing based on the hitch assist part of the tow tech package?

Same here. Order has been submitted by dealer but no email yet. I would expect some delays after how today has gone

I went to the dealer this morning to spec out and place a deposit, but as of the time i left (9AM) the system wasnt open yet. He is supposed to text me when its been submitted, but I am his first order once it opens. I'll thank my paranoia for having me show up when they opened the doors lol

Do we think there's any truth to this "order in 30 minutes" talk? Surely ford wont turn away order after 1 day, or even less than an hour? Obviously the earlier the order the greater chance of priority at the dealer, but I can't wrap my head around it possibly cutting off that early.

That’s good to know. So the fun information I get to bring home to the wife is cost of tow tech and other options, vs ultimate that includes it. I know that adaptive is technically not really a need, but I have it now and love it, and at this price point do I really want to lose a feature I use every day. We will find out tomorrow I guess

Biggest question Ill have for the dealer tomorrow pricing wise is the lariat ultimate package. Seems to be the only way to get adaptive cruise on lariat, but includes the Tow Tech package which will definitely be getting. Also seems the tailgate step only in lariat in the ultimate package. Looks like an all or nothing method for some of the popular options.

@ice-capades I'm sure you get asked this a lot. Would my dealer know pricing in their systems today now that guide is out, or is it all a mystery until Thursday? I plan on ordering next month, but wouldn't hate having a little more info before then.

I have no idea. I hadn’t noticed that part. The “normal” BLIS system is built into the taillights and a the computer changes the distance it checks based on a trailer length input by the user. At least that’s how it is on my ranger and some F150s I’ve driven. It wouldn’t surprise me if the 5th wheel system is different, but again I can’t say for certain
