  1. Thanks guys. It’s a crazy truck. My wife thinks it’s totally absurd. Lol. Is that tremor a separate forum? I used to post on a raptor forum when I had one but Ironically many of the guys on there hated the Shelby. Haha
  2. Thanks. Wasn’t sure if they are needed so I guess I will try it without. I had Tibron bump stops on my old raptor which helped a bit when towing less weight. (7k). I did watch a few videos on installing the air bags. Didn’t seem too hard but would clearly be easier for a shop to do on a lift. Truck does have power running boards btw. Can’t imagine getting in without them. Lol Lastly I’m not sure what you mean about boats being 8% gross.? I know the total weight of boat and trailer (10500) and had my dealer measure the tongue weight which was about 10% of the total (1000)
  3. I have a new 2022 F250 with Max Tow Package but its a Shelby build so the shocks/suspension have been modified. Id still like to do a bit of medium/heavy towing of my surf boat (10-11K) so I'm considering adding an air suspension. Is this something the Ford Dealer will do or will I have to take to a specialty shop. There aren't many/if any I can find in my area which is why Im wondering. Do any of you have suggestions?. Based on my Boat/Trailer my tongue weight is around 1000 which is way under the capacity listed in the door sill ..
  4. Just took delivery of a 2022 f250 on Sunday It has the max tow package (3 inch) I think all the 360/ have the 3. Take a look at gen y hitches. I did a bunch of research this week and purchased one today.
  5. Standard 2.5 unless you option max tow package then it’s 3.
  6. Thanks for your help. You are absolutely on the money here. I spoke to a rep at gen y and they said for this application it wouldn’t work as well because I don’t have enough tongue weight. They say you want the tongue weight between the numbers for optimal suspension. As such they recorded using an reducer to 2.5 and using the 16k flex hitch which has a tongue weight range of 1000-1700 for optimal suspension. They agreed I don’t need all the drop for this application but to ensure I can use it for all applications with shorter couplers they recommended getting the one with the 10 inch drop. For once and specific to this product having too much hitch was a bad thing but the reviews are pretty amazing as I guess it reduces 90% of the energy at of the hitch making for a much more stable ride
  7. About to pick up my new Malibu m240 with a triple axil trailer (around 11k pounds) My dealer said the top of the coupler is 24 inches from the top to the ground which sounds high to me. You may have seen on here but I have a new f250 Shelby with the max tow package 3 inch rec (rated at 20k) but with the lift/tires the bottom edge is nearly 22 inches from the ground. Photos attached I was thinking of getting one of the new gen y hitches with that shock system that is rated so well. It has a tongue weight limit of 2700 and rated at 21k. It can drop from 3 to 12 but based on what the dealer is telling me I would set it at 0 or maybe 3 which seems odd for a lifted f250. What am I missing here? The only other thing I was thinking is adding an air suspension system but if the trailer is level it seems like the truck won’t squat as much?
  8. My beast arrived yesterday. More photos soon once this storm rolls through
  9. More photos to come. I will say it’s an unreal beast and absolutely stunning interior IMG_0769.MOV
  10. Thanks you guys. I appreciate the kind words. I hope my wife thinks the same but I’m not sure she’s ready for how large this beast in going to be. (No pun intended) I’ll find out in a few days and hopefully you see this in the classifieds soon. lol
  11. Anyone know of any of these will fit on a truck with a chase rack
  12. Here is the video of the truck above. Mine is the same spec/color. Im not sure the kid in the video is even old enough to have a drivers license but its a great video. They are all build on Fully loaded Lariott trucks with the 6.7L Turbo Diesel and Max Tow package so 1050 torque and around 500 hp. Tow Capacity is around 15,000-20,000 pending type of attachment. Interior is fully modified and looks as amazing as the exterior mods IMO. I can post a window sticker from Ford and Shelby if you like. Friday can’t come soon enough…..
  13. Here you go. Ill Take more once I get the truck in Friday
  14. Actually NO. Turns out the truck they were advertising wasn’t been there or built. They just had a window sticker so I got my money back. I decided on a SD Shelby which I got for MSRP and is shipping to me now cross country so here Friday.
  15. Does anyone know of one? I have a Shelby Baja arriving this week and would like to remove the extra tires and get a Toneau cover as I like to place surf boards, skis etc in the back and would like some protection?
  16. After a lot of back and forth Ive decided to bail on the Platinum altogether. Mods can make the car tricky to sell sometimes and are overpriced parts/labor so I decided if I was going to overpay for a truck Id do a prebuilt modication from Shelby as these trucks are loaded but all done the same way and warrantied by Ford and Shelby. I found one for MSRP and its being delivered this week.
  17. There are good details here on the forum as to what options are holding up SD and 150 trucks. I ordered a 2022150 Max tow platinum from Granger in October and then sold my 2019 in December thinking Id be getting It in a couple months. However., as of 2 weeks ago no build date or information available. Turns out in 2022 adaptive steering was and EXTRA option which I didn't know since I used the 2021 building configuration online. Thus Id have to start over and get back in line and pay the new prices as well so I just cancelled my order and decided to go SD anyway ( A Shelby). Point is Dealers like Granger have no idea about this stuff and Ford is mum if you call them directly (I did both)
  18. Dealers can often get as good of rates as the credit unions but hey tend to make them up to retail. Super Duty rates don't tend to be as good through Ford so check with Pen Fed or a local CU and then ask the dealer if they can match it. Ive never had a dealers that couldn't.
  19. Bailed on the platinum. Dealer was a bit off and not sure they even had a truck incoming soon as they were selling just based on a window sticker and wouldn’t provide a real purchase and sales agreement?
  20. Just wondering if anyone on the forums owns one of these. Considering only 250 were made for 2021 and only 150+ thus far for 2022 Its probably a long shot one of the 400 people in the US/world would be on the forums but if so I’d love to hear some owner reviews. After ordering a F150 and then an F250 3 months ago and sold my raptor about a month ago. However it turns out neither Ford nor my dealer could not give me any idea on a production date, VIN or build date which was super frustrating — I know I am not alone here. Therefore , I cancelled my orders and started looking for a truck on the ground all over the US. All the higher end lariats and platinums had high ADMs (10-20K) so I decided for a bit more $ I could have something pretty special. I know some people say it’s just a lift and cosmetics but a couple of the pro reviews are pretty amazing. Anyway, I pulled the trigger today sight unseen and should have the truck that arrived yesterday within a week pending transport. I guess If no one responds Ill be happy to put a owner review out there in a few weeks.
  21. Hi all. I know this is the 150/raptor forum but I left on SD as well but SD folks don't seem to be as prolific about such discussions. Recently sold my 2019 Raptor for a new SD coming next week. So after the months of waiting game for my ordered truck I had to pull the trigger and pay an ADM for a on site truck. Unfortunately it doesn't have the tremor package or BAP I wanted. Ive never done mods but would like to level the truck out and add the stuff I lost for a more blacked out appearance. Please let me know if you know or have a good resource. It s bit of a rabbit hole and I want to do it right not just cheaply on a 95K truck. I live in WA and willing to take the truck for stuff If needed too. Thanks
