I changed my order last week from a F250 to an F350 as I didn't have a VIN #. My dealer told me that it was probably the last time I could amend my order due to the process, whatever that means.
I advised my dealer that I was using X-plan since I joined the mustang club of America. The only stipulation they had was that I had to make sure I had to be outside the 90 day window to use it, otherwise I was going to pay the full MSRP.
When I ordered mine, my dealer wouldn't even put it on the build as they said it is a huge delay. They have a couple local places they use and\or I am just going to go get it Line-X'd or Rhino Lined myself. Probably cheaper to do it yourself anyway than from the factory.
I initially ordered a 250 but changed it to a 350 SRW. Figured I would rather have the extra payload capacity and not need it than need it and not have it.
I'm in the DFW area and ordered on 12/3 and was given a priority code of 19. After not hearing about anything, I changed the order from a 250 Tremor to a 350 XLT, hoping it's not going to push the build date back even further now.
I've always had shells on my previous truck but thinking about going the bed cover route on this one. Really don't want a one piece cover like the undercovers or a power cover that has the box in the bed. What do you have and prefer?
