Is it really all that different from people that are trading in 2-3 year old trucks and getting as much or more than they originally paid for them?
If you decide that you don't want to keep the truck once it arrives why not do it, otherwise the dealer is just going to put an ADM on it and make a greater profit.
My dealer told me when I ordered my 22 that if I didn't want it once it came in that they would have no problem selling it, and at a bigger profit since I have X plan and they are going to pay me on trade more than I paid for the 21 I am trading back to them. They don't mind either way ?

I agree, on my last truck with the same setup, once you moved it to full cold the light would go on and it would blow harder than just the fan on high. Does max defrost work in the other direction? Could be an issue with the switch, dang microchips ?

Finally got the "scheduled" email! After 4.5 months of waiting. I know many have been waiting longer and I feel for you. Hang in there, I hope you get yours soon.
Ordered: 12-30-21
Confirmed: 12-31-21
Today (5/12/22), I received Received my VIN and a scheduled build date of 6-20-22
2022 F-250 Lariat CCSB 7.3L, BAP, Lariat Ultimate Package, Ultimate Trailer Tow Camera System with Pro Trailer Backup Assist, moonroof, upfitter switches, rear seat heater, dual batteries/alternator.
My dealer told me we should order without the 5th wheel prep and that they would install it when it arrived... for the same price.
I had my dealer switch out my BAP to the flavor without the bedliner about a month ago... again they said they would do it for the same price when it arrived.
Almost the exact same build and order dates for me too. I also have the adaptive cruise, FX4, snow plow prep, and no 5th wheel prep.
Got the email today with the build week of 6-20!
Maybe they will be building a whole mess of 7.3 F250 BAP that week!

Ordered 1-27-22, took delivery 5-5-22.
Smashed the 5-6 month estimate tho the salesman said he is telling people 12 months now, and that Antimatter Blue is not being offered on the 23's.
Congratulations on your new ride. Glad to see someone has beat the dealer estimate for delivery. I ordered in early January and no movement towards a build date yet. Not even a VIN.

It definitely looks sharp. I was torn between the red and carbonized gray.
What did you end up getting for the smoked clearance lights? And how does the short antenna do for reception? I am one of the few who still listens to over the air radio ?

Is that the BAP, or something else? I see the blacked out side emblems, wheels, and running boards, but you have a red grill!

So many fun things to add to my truck, and I don't even have a VIN yet!
The list keeps growing from a tonneau cover, to a new hitch, to a stubby antenna, to mud flaps, new running boards, not to mention the idea of new wheels and tires.

A bunch of earlier orders all received the same email about 1 month ago. Sorry you got one too.

Another month, so maybe a VIN in my future...
Dealer Code F48608
Order Code A016

Thank you very much ?

As others have posted they are removed when adding things like plow mounts or front receivers. Maybe these add ons fit the "safety device" too. I do know that when I hit a deer with the plow mount it did far less damage than just hitting it with the bumper and valance would have. Still cost me $1700 in parts to repair ?

Looking at it, I actually received the same email twice within a half hour! This two is the only communication from Ford since I received my order confirmation email on January 4th. Not as long as some on this forum, but still pretty long with nothing. I guess this is something ?

All three trucks I've had have all had Line-X spray and liners. Never had any issues with any of them never had any damage either. I throw all kinds of things in the back, no scratches, no nothing, things don't slide around, and it's extremely durable. Much better than the slippery hard plastic that rubs and rattles.

Sorry I am looking for a set of 18" black tremor wheels
Thanks though ?

What wheels and tires do you have?

I would be driving a new 2022 Ford Bronco 2dr Badlands Sasquatch eruption green. Wish they offered that color in the Super Duty.

On my 21 there is a strap up by the headrest that folds the seat back down. On the passenger side that is where the jack is.

Especially when you can get it done locally the next day.
Not sure how it is working in your area, but where I am at it was a 4-6 week wait for Line-X due to product shortage. That was in spring of 2021 and from what I have heard it hasn't gotten any better. Same wait for Rhino and Bullet liners

Had it in my last Corvette, never used it. Was more of a distraction than helpful.
I agree with you. My buddies GMC has it and I find it to be more annoying than anything. When you hit a button on the steering wheel it changes the display and is a distraction. I guess I have been driving long enough that I know where to glance to see the information that I need.

The biggest problem that I have with the "leveling" is that once you load the bed or the hitch now you are nose high and your lights are pointing up. I usually have enough weight that I am pulling around that it looks level anyways. Just my 2¢

Definitely check with your salesman and dealer. You should have gotten the confirmation email within a few days at the most if the order was placed correctly.
