The bed spray apparently has to go across the street so that scheduling has been a delay, but lots of folks have canceled it now and it may be freeing up. i think guys are getting worried they wont get built this model year.

what about wax, should you wait to let the paint set before you wax the thing? I know that is the case with older paints but this my first new truck since 2007

i dont think the lariat ulitmate hits any stop items on its own. you cannot change your order once you are scheduled for production

price elasticity. let me try a different tact - Ford offers a slight premium price for people who want to get scheduled more quickly, very doable and most customers would see it as reasonable. Then it goes away when supply improves. that is the same as paying more than msrp for a vehicle on the lot.

General thought, if dealers sell at MSRP but the market pays more, then purchasers can resell and make money. i guess i am saying that the market is what it is and prices is what someone is willing to pay, so Ford is being a little silly not charging more themselves. They must view it as marketing - we didnt gouge you when we could have....

i am still sitting on 21st for my basic lariat 250 6.7. reading between the lines Ford seems to be shifting models around for scheduling as components come and go. My guess is they are becoming very good at scheduling and maximizing profits by getting as much produced as possible. My guess is i will get started next week, a little early. Frankly, from my perspective, i am impressed at how well Ford is managing a mess not of their making.

It is usually done pretty quick after that. when did you order, what?

i have been seeing the more simple builds come up as started a week earlier than scheduled, meaning 250's without the shortage items.

any builds getting started that are scheduled the week of the 21st?

Does Ford update incentives every month? Any changes on that front in February? I think January had zero interest for 150s but nothing for 250s.

i saw somewhere a Canadian was able to do it, not sure if it is different country rules

i saw a dealer from Iowa on a forum trying to drum up business saying below invoice. you can get invoice if you get the right dealer

got an email from F 20 min ago saying my production date was moved from feb 28 to feb 21. it was scheduled last thursday on 28th while everyone else was getting 21st. f250 lariat 6.7 none of the hold items

Interesting that the scheduling notes for SD say this week schedules for 2-17 but several of us have been scheduled for 2-28. I am guessing that F expects parts shipments for older order that have not arrived yet.

Really appreciate everyone on here sharing info. my Lariat 250 6.7 4x4 ordered 21 Dec got scheduled for week of feb 28. interesting that it is two weeks out from the other orders, but it has none of the delay items.
