I ordered on 8-23-2021 confirmation on 8-23-2021 was told by the sales manager worst case sernio my truck would be delivered in April of 2022, my son ordered the exact truck with the 7.3 gas motor instead of the diesel engine that I ordered. My son ordered a month after I did, he received his truck a early this month. Sales manager says no one is in front of me and doesn't know what is the hold up is. All constraints were removed in February on both trucks. Worst part was I traded my truck in September figuring I could make it thru winter without a truck. I was wrong, so for everyone that's frustrated I feel your pain.

I have to admit I do feel mad at ford/dealership that other people are being schedule before me while I have been waiting in line since Aug 27 ford losing my respect I'm with you I ordered on Aug. 24th 2021. My son ordered on Sept. 23rd 2021. Still waiting and watching others complain about having to wait 2 or 3 months.

Carbonized gray is the color I ordered as well, Your truck looks awesome.

Just a FYI I followed advice from here once again. Contacted the sales manager, he spoke to the Ford regional manager, and told him that he needed to get my truck bumped to Priority 2. Now just Waiting for him to let me know how that went.

I know there are a lot of people on here that ordered a truck before I did. I am just curious how many have ordered a truck before August 26th of 2021. I Ordered a F350 lariat 6.7 removed the 5th wheel prep and bed liner several months ago. Dealer moved me to a priority number 11 several months ago as well. Still no word.

Just got off the phone with the sales manager and he looked up my order while I was on the phone with him. He says that I have the COVP and it is Unscheduled Clean.

That is a good question. Thanks to this forum I had the dealer removed the 5th wheel prep and spray in bed liner a month and and half ago. I am willing to remove anything I have to to get this going. My dealer was unaware that there were any hold ups and is blaming it on short staffing.

I'm am starting to realize that now. I was told worst case scenario, My truck wouldn't be here till April.

I hope that is not the case, My dealer took my truck for trade in back in September. I have been without a truck since then and have a lot of concrete work for this summer.

I asked the sales manager two weeks ago, To speak with the territory sales manager to look into why I have not heard anything from ford. Other than a confirmation back in August of 2021. I also asked if they could order the 5th wheel prep and put it in or I would order it and put it in myself. He got back to me last week and informed that territory manager informed him that Ford is not having any problems getting parts, the problem is they are short of workers. and as for the 5th wheel prep Ford is reimbursing the dealers and have them put in an aftermarket package at the dealerships. From what I have been reading on the forums this sounds like BS.

I belive you have to have a vin # first I had my dealer drop the 5th wheel prep and spray in bed liner several weeks ago. F350 Lariat, CCLB, SRW, 6.7, 5th wheel prep, lariat package, spray in liner, cab heat, outfitter switches, led head lights.

May 21st, I'm sorry but you should be moved to the next truck built, unless you have options that they can't get.

I'm in the group that would like to know what I have do to get a build date.? Order date August 26th

Yesterday, my Son contacted Ford to make sure that his truck got ordered back in September 26th because he never received an e-mail from ford. He has asked the Dealership numerous times whey he hasn't received a confirmation e-mail from Ford. And they keep telling him his truck has been ordered. I saw a posting on here the other day with the phone number to ford and had him call it yesterday to make sure that he had a truck ordered. When he spoke with the lady on the phone she told him that his truck had been ordered and that the dealer used my e-mail and did not have one for him. She added him to my e-mail for future notices on his truck. I then called the number to make sure that my Truck had been ordered and it was in August. I asked if the was any thing that I could remove from the build to speed up the process. I informed him that I already removed the 5th wheel pre and spray in bed liner. He told my that I needed to talk with my dealer and that he could speak with ford to get my truck move up with a production date. My question is has anyone done this or is this not possible for the dealer to get this going. I don't want to bother him if there is nothing he can do.

Priority is set by the dealer manually. It doesn’t change unless the dealer changes it. That’s how they tell Ford which vehicles to build first. 10 is the best but 11 is good and probably means you’re near the front of the queue. Just ask the dealer how many trucks are in front of yours. Thanks, I just got off the phone with the dealer again and he moved both of our trucks to priority 10. He said that he thought a priority 11 was the best.

got confirmation from ford on 9-24-21

I just got off the phone with the dealer and he say's that I'm still at a priority code 11. That's what I was 2 weeks ago when I had him drop the 5th wheel prep and the bed liner. It is definitely getting frustrating.

Can someone tell me what priority code you need to get to to have them start building your truck?

CNBC also reported that Ford would be cutting production next week because of parts shortages. The automaker told CNBC there would be downtime next week for the Ford Bronco and Explorer SUVs; the Ford F-150 and Ranger pickups; the Ford Mustang Mach-E electric crossover; and the Lincoln Aviator SUV at plants in Michigan, Illinois, Missouri and Mexico. I see nothing about the HD trucks, so will they keep building the HD trucks?

I spoke to my dealer yesterday and made sure that he dropped the 5th wheel prep and bed liner. I asked him what my priority number was and he said that I was at an 11. Can anyone tell if there is anything I could remove to speed up the process. My son and I both ordered new trucks in September for our business and was told that we should have them by April. Neither one of us have heard anything. I ordered a F350 Lariat CCLB pretty loaded, neither one of us ordered the adaptive steering. unfortunately we booth traded our trucks into the dealership in October since he said April wouldn't be a problem. Like many on here were getting a little nervous cause construction is in full swing by May in MN.

Hi I'd like to start out by saying thanks for this forum. I have been reading on here for the last couple weeks since finding this forum. I have read so much that I'm getting information overload. I ordered back on 9/24 and am waiting like many others on here. Called my dealer last week and asked him to drop the 5th wheel and bed liner. Hopefully this will speed up process.
