  1. At this point I would be surprised. I definitely am not holding my breath lol.
  2. No way they're already down to 180k left to build. it was near 300k less than a month ago. Although that number was retail, stock and maybe fleet. Maybe there are only 180k retail orders left?
  3. Yup May 2nd week here and no updates to speak of. I had not been discouraged until now. Made the mistake of selling my truck last week as I had assumed since I was scheduled for 5/2 it would happen, as that seems to have been the case recently. Unfortunately that doesn't seem in the cards now. Also sounds like we may be back to supply chain type issues again. I was hoping to have my truck by Memorial Day, I don't see that happening and am slightly panicking I won't have it by the first of July, which is when we have our large family vacation camping trip.....
  4. I'm sticking with my credit union but will keep them in my back pocket. I thought you or your direct family must be in the armed forces, however it says it includes grand parents, so I'm in luck.
  5. Just got preapproved for my 250 last week at my local credit union at 2.74%, I'd be shocked if FMC was within 1 percentage point of that...
  6. If you're lucky yeah. I ordered 12/6 and my build week is 5/2, I'm not believing it until I see it though. I got my build week on 3/17 I believe.
  7. If yours is a gasser you'll need to order one for sure as gas comes with 2.5 receiver which does not include the sleeve. If you have a diesel that comes with a 3 inch and has a reducer to 2.5 inch so if you need a 2 inch you'll need to buy one regardless.
  8. Yeah I got STX as well. You may be waiting a while with 2 of the big hold ups on your order. Although I've seen a lot pushed through with those as well.
  9. Ordered 12/6/21, got my build date two weeks ago of 5/2. Haven't been bumped yet (knock on wood). My order was pretty basic. 2022 F250 XL CCSB 4x4 7.3 4.30 gears Camper package FX4 Power group I did some googling and you look like you're on par with your thoughts of it being 5200 or 5600. I saw both but couldn't find exactly what you asked. Sounds like it'll be one of the two though
  10. This is what I have ordered as well, however it won't be built until the week of 5/2, so if you're still looking once I get it I can look, but who knows when that'll be....
  11. My F250 XL was scheduled today. Seems there was a lot more scheduled today than the normal week, hopefully that doesn't mean there will be mass date push backs too...
  12. Wow that's a sweet looking truck, honestly one of the nicer ones I've seen. I assume you paid more for this one than your new one would be? I'd have no problem buying a gently used one like this over brand new if pricing was similar to what I am locked into with my 22. There was a 22 tremor on a lot about 100 miles from me, red with similar miles and they wanted more than the original MSRP but quite a lot. It eventually told but sat there for a little while.
  13. There's nothing locking you into buying when you order. If you order and don't like the vehicle you walk, you're out nothing but wait time unless your dealer takes a nonrefundable deposit. I wouldn't mess with a dealer that did that myself
  14. My reply really had nothing to do about managing an order it was more for if your 22MY was unable to be produced.
  15. Hopefully others do the same or what would make Ford look better was if Ford did this but I can't see that happening. Would show they really do care about their customers imo.
  16. I hate people to loose their jobs but you're not wrong. The majority of people ordering do it all online themselves submit it to a dealer and the salesman does very little. The whole process needs revamped and very well may be done if the supply issues longer and Ford moved more toward an ordering plan like they claim they are.
  17. I work in IT as well, not 35 years but 12. They're a billion dollar company there is certainly something better they can do as far as automated notifications. From what I see people are mad about just the can being kicked down the road with no explanation. If Ford can fire off an email that says your date has been moved to X date they can do the same with a reason why. I am the other bunch though, I'd love to get some email from Ford other than the confirmation that they received my order. I'd love to get an email that bumps me back, that shows I am at least in the queue....
  18. Yup seems that every brand is having the same issues not only with vehicles but for just about every product you see in the store or can order....
  19. Nope, you're in a waiting game. I ordered same day as you with zero commodity items on my build. I've received nothing other than the confirmation email and judging by the links posted above it may be a while before anyone hears anything. All this just goes to show how much we rely on other countries for just about everything we purchase....
  20. I agree here, would be nice that if your 22MY was not able to be built you had the choice to roll it to a 23MY first in line with the same pricing if you wanted, but we know that isn't likely to happen. As silly as I thought it was buying an inflated used F250 or some other brand 3/4 ton its not looking like that bad of a choice at this moment if I can find a low mileage one. I'm not worried about resale value as I plan on keeping this truck for 15+ years, it's mainly going to be used to pull my RV and put 5-10k miles max on i per year.....
  21. Has anyone bought an overpriced used 3/4 ton, whether it be Ford, Chevy, GMC, or RAM and used it until your new one shows up? If so did they treat you fair on trade when your new truck came in? I've ran across a 6.0 Chevy 2500 that's priced really good, tempted to buy it to start the camping season with then trade it off when the new F250 comes in. Luckily I still do have my F150 which I'll probably use but if people are still getting fair trade in prices I'll think about buying used, use it for a few months then trade off for a slight loss or maybe even make a bit.
  22. I ordered about the most plain jane F250 possible other than power group. F250 XL 4x4 CCSB, 7.3, 4.30, I don't think it has a lot to do with what your options are other than if you have something on the commodity list.
  23. Absolutely! A check here and another forum shows quite a few that have ordered this year and scheduled and built. There is no rhyme or reason as to why truck A is built before or after truck B. It's not first in first out even if all parts are available to build. It's almost like a lottery where they are pulling lottery balls out to see which trucks to build for a week.
