  1. ‘22 F-350 Platinum Tremor with the multi-contour (massaging) seats. Finally got it last week. I think they didn’t finish building the passenger seat. Dealership is telling me they all come that way but I find that hard to believe. Passenger side allows height adjustment but won’t adjust the seat cushion. The front portion of the switch clicks but nothing happens. Rear portion of that same switch does raise and lower the entire seat. Video explains it. Dealership says there isn’t even a motor in that part of this seat and it’s normal. Can anyone confirm/deny this? Next closest dealer that is not a part of that some company is a long drive. I’d like to know if it’s actually broken or not before I try going there. Thanks! IMG_2246.MOV
  2. 2 days. It left Kentucky on Friday. Was in Illinois the next day. Made it to Mesquite Texas by Monday. Just waiting for the dealer to tell me the transport has dropped it off. I expect that should happen by the end of the week.
  3. I have been tracking delivery of my truck through CSX. As of today it shows it was delivered to Illinois and no further ETA. Is there a way to track which carrier will be transporting my truck to the dealership? Is Illinois the drop off point or just a stop along the way? Final destination is Texas. Thanks!
  4. I have my rail car info now! What site do I need to use to track this? TTGX696777
  5. Man mines been “In Production” for two weeks now. The excitement is killing me. Just hoping the delivery time isn’t nuts. I’ve worked hard to cover all my bases so the dealer can’t get one over on me. I have it in writing that they will honor my Xplan pricing, cash incentive offer, and price protection. I’ve laid out my expectations for when the truck arrives. Last thing I need to do is send someone in with my trade in vehicle no more than 7 days before the truck arrives. That way I can get a written quote for the value and they can’t screw me on that come time to pick up the new F350. That should take care of 99% of the ways they could up charge me for this truck. Now just need it built and delivered! Anyone else in the 5170 batch get the built email yet? Mine was heavily optioned and I see modules in the As Built info so I am assuming it’s the bed liner install slowing it down. Wish I could go help build it I want it so bad! Been waiting since November, almost there…
  6. I’m 5170 also, #178. Exact same stuff here with the dates and emails. Mines fully optioned so I assume yours is similar. I’ve heard up to two weeks to build the fully optioned ones. I’m expecting to see something end of next week about it being finished.
  7. It’s called excitement, anticipation, curiosity…. Nothing wrong with that. I’m not going crazy about mine but yeah…. For something that I’m spending nearly 100k on, I keep my eye on the progress.
  8. I had a VIN in just a couple weeks…. I’d be pressing my dealer pretty hard at this point!

  10. Haha, yeah…. BY FAR the most expensive vehicle I’ll have ever owned. I figured if I was going to buy a house on wheels it might as well be a fully loaded house! I put it all on this truck. No PTO or plow package, but everything else. I even tossed in the Warn winch. Nothing removed from this build. 5th wheel package, spray in liner, adaptive cruise, ALL of it. It’s been a hell of a wait but it’ll be worth it. Fully loaded ones like this will be rare for a while as many people dropped options or didn’t have them available. So stoked. Trading in my Audi and ‘07 F250 will help a bit on the price.
  11. No email from Ford yet but went ahead and looked anyway…. I HAVE A WINDOW STICKER!!! Man been waiting since November and it’s finally being built. All the excitement had almost worn off. So stoked! She’s going to be the envy of many! windowsticker.pdf
  12. Ordered 11/23. First build date 2/21. Then 2/28. Then 3/14. Now 3/28. Waiting patiently. Fully loaded F-350 Platinum Tremor. Has anyone tried to change which dealership your ordered truck gets delivered to? I know the orders are closely tied to the dealer it came from so it may not even be possible. My dealer (large nationwide chain) is being super shady anytime I ask about my X-plan and an additional $750 incentive I have from the State Fair that we initially discussed. They keep just saying we can’t do any of that till we have a VIN and the truck is delivered. Other then in person, when I first went to the dealership to talk about making an order, they have not given me a solid confirmation in writing. I told them I have a VIN already and I understand that it’s all done at delivery. I just want confirmation that they will honor it, and I’ve made that super clear. They still won’t give me a straight answer. I have this bad feeling they are going to wait for it to show up and feed me some BS while they charge me full price. I’m sure they would love for me to walk away after waiting for 6 months so they can sell it at sticker. I don’t intend to let that happen. I sent a very detailed e-mail to them a few days ago including all the attached documents for the pricing protection, State Fair incentive, and my X-Plan PIN. So IF I can’t get this in writing in the next couple weeks, is it possible to have your order delivered somewhere else? Anything else I can do to prevent them changing the deal when the truck arrives? The initial order paperwork did NOT show an X-Plan price, and he said that it just doesn't do that sometimes. He also stated that its typically around 4% over invoice (invoice WAS listed on the initial order agreement) so that clearly tells me he understood I would be providing a PIN at delivery. *sigh* I just want my truck when its ready with no surprises... Let me know if you guys have any ideas. Thanks!
