  1. I have this hitch, and no complaints from me.
  2. Dealer should honor the price on your order paperwork (less anything you removed after the order). I have read many posts here that some Dealers were not honoring the price protection. I picked up my truck this month from the Dealer, the paper work they had ready showed the new MSRP (what as on the sticker) and no discounts that we agreed to were applied. I showed them my paperwork, and no argument, they updated the paper work. But, the second round of paper work was still wrong, they kept the new MSRP and applied the discounts we previously agreed to. Again, I pointed out the error to them (ie. price protection), and again with no argument they quickly changed the paperwork. The third time was a charm, and price was as agreed. So, you do need to watch them, and if you have a signed order, you should get the price you agreed to if the dealer is at all a bit honest and have integrity. Take your paper work with you.
  3. fyi - My window sticker was available one day after the status of my truck changed to "in production".
  4. Info: For those that ordered the factory winch which is installed by the dealer, make sure they provide the front license plate bracket (if you want one). The standard one does not work, but Ford sells a low profile one part number LC3Z-17A385-BA. My dealer did not know any of this until I did the research and informed them. My dealer did order it and installed it at no cost to me.
  5. I got the factory mudflaps, but too new to know how they will hold up. Also purchased a set of Husky x-act floor mats. They seem fine so far and looks like they will hold mud/water fine, but likely won't know just how good they are until we get some rain, or it is winter.
  6. I had the console vault installed by factory...is there a console tray that will work with it? Suggestions? Basically, with the vault you just have a big box to dump your stuff in, and no way to organize anything.

  8. Not sure which rail yard mine will be offloaded, I've not been tracking after shipped... so i can hope my truck is at least in one of those rail yards. Mine truck is a drw too. Big lift facility would make sense since it is closer to my dealer.
  9. Can you share location of this rail yard. I think i recall you mentioned your dealer is 100 miles from Denver. My dealer is 30miles from denver and my truck was to arrive this week. Thinking my truck may be there too. Thanks
  10. Okay, fair enough...so it means nothing only in the context of order tracking and for discussion in this forum...got it. But it does mean something to someone, or else why would a software engineer have written the software code to put it there, and change it upon a review/display event. ? I was just trying to help hone in on a viable answer to those curious minds that were asking about it, and I thought icecapes response was reasonable.
  11. I'm in Colorado too. Also, my window sticker says "convoy" and not rail.

(tracker reflects shipped, but with no shipped date) 4/2 - window sticker with date of 4/2 (no change in tracker)
  13. Curiously....do you know what constitutes a "retrieved" and "displayed" event/action? I literally view my window sticker every day and the date at the bottom of the sticker does not change each time. My date also changed on and to 3/23 and then again 4/2. So, are consumers all looking at an "in memory" version of the window sticker, and then periodically (perhaps time based), it changes or refreshes on some cycle ? Again, just curious about what actually causes a "retrieval" and "displayed" action. I'll also acknowledge that 99% for forum members probably could care less, but it is in my technical mind seeking to understand your response further, if you choose to respond further on this topic. ? ?
  14. I really have no basis for an opinion, just saw someone else on this forum mention them, and I looked them up on the Web. So, thought they were the go-to upgrade. and they seemed cool. ?
  15. yeah...but they are not morimotos ?...not sure if they yet have a plug and play to replace factory LED
  16. I don't know if going in early would help, but I can't imagine it would hurt wrt pricing. Technically, I think you could actually purchase before the truck is built/shipped/arrived... you just need the VIN. Anyway, my dealer mentioned that to me as an option in the context of tax implications. I wish you the best with your decision.
  17. Good question however, my 2 cents on this. For me, I did sign some order form (dealer signed nothing) that showed the build, MSRP, and discount they said they would give me off MSRP (which I had to initial), I gave them a deposit they said was non-refundable (they did not cash the check yet), they took a copy of my DL. However, if they change the agreed price on me, I am walking...if even increase by 1 cent. A deal is a deal for me. It is how I do business with folks (my word is my bond, and I expect the same from others that are in my sphere). I am paying cash (no financing), and technically I could pay whatever they asked, but I won't pay one cent more...I will only pay what we agreed upon. I guess it is a personal choice. I really do want my Super Duty, so hopefully my dealer will live up to their agreement.
