Never thought this post would come, but she’s finally arrived! Dealer was awesome and managed to get the brush guard installed same day as I had to head out of town for work the next morning at 4. Ordered 2-9-22 Arrived on Monday 1-23, picked it up 1-24. Obviously got the guard and installed a tonneau cover on it so far. Next is tint and a 3” lift with a 37s! (Also I think removing the FX4 was definitely the right call)

Ordered my ranch hand guard (without the bumper) on Friday. Supposed to be delivered to the store today, gonna grab it this weekend. Still waiting on the truck, but Hoping I’m able to pick it up next weekend and get it thrown on. So far I’ve bought the tonneau cover and the brush guard. Planning on getting some last little accessories this week to prep for delivery. Things like rain guards, stuff to protect the truck from the pups, organization stuff, possibly a mount for the Glock, but I hate the thought of drilling into the dash so not sure on that one yet. Let me know what y’all have gotten for your truck! Can’t wait to start building it. I’ll be working out of this nearly every day so im curious what people have noticed is important/useful to have.

Good news everyone, my truck has made it to the holding lot to wait for convoy transportation following its trip via rail. It is in Petersburg VA at lot B apparently. I’m curious y’all’s thoughts. My estimated date for my dealer was today. Obviously that will not happen, and he said the estimation is now the 24th. I think this is just an automated push back seeing as the old date came and went. I’m thinking there is still a chance I see it this weekend and I feel like the date is nearly pointless as of late. Obviously any ideas are speculations but I feel like the holding lots after rail have been better. The only thing I’m worried about is my 8’ box holding me up. My truck is listed as “hot” but I also think so are everyone else’s. Let me know your guesses. Will I see my truck this weekend or will it be closer to the 24th? Good news is my 2014 F150 that I bought in 2020 and put 60k miles on was totaled and I will get $15,700 despite the fact that I only paid $14,500. This world is crazy.

Interesting that you say it rides smoother, I haven’t heard that. Im definitely excited. For me bigger is better, plus I feel cooler LOL. I had a 6.5 in my last 150 but this will still certainly be a much larger truck. Can’t wait!

Curious to see some more pics of these trucks. I plan on doing 5% all the way around, 35 on the windshield with a 5% brow and maybe 35-50 on the sun roof. I want to mitigate what but not worried about privacy on the sunroof. Yes all of this is very not legal lol oh well. Secondary offense here in va. The back 3 don’t matter though. My last truck has 5% on the back 3 10 on the two front sides and no windshield.

Exactly! Getting that superduty fever feeling again! And oh yes I’m definitely going to be getting some stuff for this truck. Especially stuff to keep the dogs off my leather!!! Haha. But that’s awesome to hear about the bumper. Also hoping it will help my truck look a little less lopsided with the long bed by adding the extra length on the truck. The damn thing will bd over 22’ long at that point. Land yacht! No more drive through for me. Looking at getting a 3” lift and shoving 37x12.50s under her! First things first with the bumper though lol. Only mod I want to do but won’t because I like my warranty is the def delete.

Oh I gotcha. And funny you mention. My buddy hit a deer in his truck and while it wasn’t totaled it caused a lot of damage and I gave him hell about having a guard. I had not gotten one for my last truck as I knew I would be getting rid of it and thought I would’ve had the new one by now. But my plan was to buy the ranch hand as soon as I get my new one. I may even order it ahead of time like my tonneau cover is waiting for the truck haha. I am putting it on as soon as possible as I don’t want to risk it at all! I’m getting the guard without the bumper though as I want to keep my stock bumper because of the king ranch paint matching. Though my dealer warned me to ensure that it would not impact any of the sensors. He notes they had a customer bring a 150 in to get the guard installed and had to move sensors, though on the website it says the one works with the front camera and the collision warning sensors. Was wondering if you know if your son in law had any issues with sensors when he installed his? Also hopefully these new target dates are more accurate for delivery. Im honestly not sure what to think. My truck is come to va and our train from what I heard goes up to Ohio and back down towards southern va where it awaits truck carriers. Hard to believe at this point I could have my truck by the end of the week.

The dealers program was showing the 5th, I assume it just grabs the midpoint. Although as my date has been changed so many times now I try not to buy into those dates too much. But I definitely think the end of this week is possible if they are timely. If not I have hopes of this month. Though my biggest concern is having the long bed. I know these tend to take longer to ship, but keeping my fingers crossed! 331k though that’s pretty impressive! My 150 was about 202. Curious when you happened to place your order originally? There’s one other superduty at my dealership that was ordered before mine last January that is still sitting at the KTP, though if is a dually.

Been awhile since I’ve been on here but had a few things I wanted to share with everyone. First the bad; on my way back from my vacation for the holidays I unfortunately got in an accident with a deer. It was 11:30 at night 45 minutes from home in our 11 hour drive. My 14 f150 did its job exceptionally and protected my family without injury. Only had slight bruising to my own hand from the airbag. The seatbelts actually stopped any contact with the airbags other than that which was amazing. Unfortunately a damaged radiator, transmission cooler and transmission as well as no oil pressure or power steering I’m assuming, and at this point hoping it is totaled. This left me in a weird position as I’m waiting from my F250 to be delivered. Good news now, I was with my dealer yesterday who has been very amazing. I was giving my approval to run credit info, lock into an interest rate, and secure a 2,500 PCO. and while I was there I asked if he had seen any tracking updates. He was showing me the new application dealers have been given which has a semi-live location shown on a map. And an hour before I got to the dealer my truck had boarded a train in KY. nearly 11 months later and she’s on her way. I’m hoping shipping will go smoothly for me as nothing else has and my current rental will only last 25 days covered by insurance. I will keep everyone updated as much as I can and be sure to post pictures when it comes in! I hope the truck drivers are nice and grab my truck even though I have the long box. (Also for those that may be wondering what interest rates are like as I know I was, I was given the best tier at tier 0 from ford and a 7.9% rate. Though I’m 22 with a good score but little credit history.)

Any updates? Mine is still sitting haven’t heard a damn thing. Just confused at this point.

Oh yeah totally get the frustration. Especially when I haven’t even see it budge and Ford is no longer disclosing hold information I believe so idk if my truck is on hold or what. It’s listed as released but who knows. I didn’t have anhtbjng crazy and it was already sent offsite once. How come it could be sent offsite so quickly but it can’t be sent o me. Ordered in February and paying 85k It’s just extremely frustrating. I know a lot of people might be like yeha well that’s just how it is with supply chain and whatnot But man if my truck has been sitting at KTP for almost 2 months I feel like we gotta explore something else. I offered to pay to drop ship it to a dealer next to the plant but you have to make that decision before your truck gets built. ??‍♂️ I’m a diehard Ford man but this is killing me. I had to drop 1500$ on my trade in for a repair, but when I ordered in February I wasn’t worried cause I imagined I would have my truck by now. And now I’ll probably be sold a 2022 in 2023 without any “year old” discount.

That’s awesome! Unfortunately just got my new dates of dec 9-15. Although Tim not really buying any dates at this point. Just figure it will appear at the dealership one of these days. Extremely confused why I haven’t gotten on a train as it’s been 2 months. Part of me is hoping the tracker is messed up. I know it’ll be worth the wait. Man you got an awesome shipping experience! My truck has been released since 8/25 and my date was nov 8-14. Unless it magically appears today I’m expecting to get a pushed email the next couple days. It says it’s still sitting at KTP. Part of me wonders if my tracker is messed up which I have heard has happened. Just hoping I get it before Christmas at this point! Beautiful truck though, love the long bed!!!

Good morning all, looking for some opinions. Truck built on 8/25 was sent offsite and then released. Still showing awaiting shipment. Next estimated date is Nov 8-14. Not sure how I feel about it. Going to talk to my dealer this week as getting this truck is becoming very important as I’m taking a big trip at the end of dec and really relying on having this truck. Also constantly killing my trade in as I’m driving 4-5k miles a month for work. I want to see if he knows anyone we can get involved higher up but I’m also wondering if it’s worth the cost for me (depending on what it is) to have my delivery location switched to whatever dealership is right next to the KTP. I know I have to pay a fee to switch it, but I feel like if it only had to go a couple miles it would deliver much quicker. Any ford guys have opinions on it switching it will help? At this point getting before the 20th of dec is looking less and less possible.

So my delivery date got pushed back a couple of days ago, which I expected, to October 7th through October 13th. However, I just got on a chat with Ford and they said the ETA was November 8th through November 14th. Why is this information not being sent out to the customer correctly. I'll admit I'm quite frustrated and curious to see how long it takes for me to get an email about this updated delivery date. It makes me wonder how long this ETA has existed and I have been given completely incorrect dates. I was told October 7th - 13th on Tuesday for reference. I cringe at the idea of my truck baking in the sun in a holding lot for nearly 3 months. Edit: I know I expected this and everyone is dealing with it, the delivery time is not the part that frustrates me I know nothing can be done there. Although I would be more than willing to pay to go pick up my truck at this point. The part that frustrates me is the communication. I would rather have worst case scenario from the get go to accurately set my expectations, and if it comes early that's awesome, but at least if it doesn't I knew that as soon as Ford did.

Thought this picture was interesting and since I have to see it so do y’all ?. Also weird that my delivery estimation is 9/16-9/22 and I don’t believe I’ve even been put on a rail at but I also haven’t gotten a pushback email. I know there’s no way it will be here by then but wonder when I’ll get my email ??‍♂️

Good morning all, Curious to get some of y'all's opinions on my delivery date. Truck was built 08/25 and scheduled for delivery between 09/16 - 09/22. So far I have not received any sort of push back email which makes me hopeful considering I feel like if they push you back for delivery they tend to let you know well before your date comes. However, I have not gotten on a rail car yet. I've been following ordertrack.app and its showing that I've been awaiting shipment for 5 days and I am estimated to wait 7 before I get on a train car with 15 other similar vehicles awaiting shipment with me. The estimated time has actually gone down slightly over the last 5 days. I know it takes roughly 3 days by rail and probably a day by truck to get to my dealer assuming a truck picks it up right away (Which I know is a very big assumption). Trying not to get my hopes up, but the way everything is looking, it seems like they are expecting me to have my truck next week. I know all of these things can change last minute and the railroad strike has me a little worried, but I feel like because they haven't pushed me back yet they feel there is still a pretty good shot to make the timeframe. What do you guys think, and have any of you gone through this process with the ordertrack.app, if so how accurate was it? Also, have you guys noticed many people getting pushed back once they are actually in the window that Ford estimated? I appreciate any and all insight! On a side note, I am finally getting back that anxious/giddy feeling that I had when I ordered the truck originally. All of you that are still waiting, it is frustrating, and for some of you I can't even fathom how long you've been waiting, but I'm pretty sure its all worth it. I've had an amazing experience with my dealer who is very responsive, open, and honest with me and has been willing to help out in any way they can. I was in priority 2 for most of the time I was waiting. The only things I think Ford could truly do better and that I've been disappointed with are the meager 300 credit for the MC seats. I'm over it now, but I think that the compensation was very minimal. I also think that the process by which vehicles transfer from train to truck needs to be heavily revamped and much more organized and regimented. I do understand there is likely more to it than that, but vehicles should roughly be taken in the order in which they were produced, and if a vehicle has sat for a month waiting to be picked up it needs to be put on the next truck that is even remotely close to the final destination. Finally, from what I understand there is little to no communication with anyone once the truck reaches the yard after it gets of the train. Not even with the dealer. Nobody knows where that truck is until it seemingly appears at the dealer. These are the main three things I think need to be retouched that I've noticed in this process. However I know lots of things are easier said than done, but other than that, I know Ford can only do so much.

Found this website from a post on this forum last week and been checking it periodically (ordertrack.app). Noticed this morning I have this new box with an estimated wait time on it saying it’s been like this for 18 hours. Been awaiting shipment since 8/25. I’m hoping this means that maybe the shipment process is getting going. My estimated delivery date is 9/16-9/22 and while I know it isn’t likely I’m hoping beyond hope it sticks. Haven’t got pushed back yet ???? Going to Nashville end of this month and would love to have her for the 9 hr drive.

I had no idea about the interest rates. Unfortunately my credit was never ran or anything at the start of the process so I guess I won’t have any protected rates? I also never paid a fee to place my order, I thought you had to but I never did. Price protection alone saved me almost 5k so far.

This is extremely helpful, definitely not expecting it to make the first window but hoping I get lucky with at least one part of this whole process. Where was your dealer located if you don’t mind me asking?

This continues to get worse. Thank you for the insight, definitely keeps my expectations in check. I’ll continue to rack up 3k+ miles a month on my trade in. Honestly I really just need it for my Christmas trip so hopefully I’ll see it by then. Where are you shipping to from which plant if you don’t mind me asking?
