That's a bummer... my dealer has not been communicative at all and when I asked about the Vehicle Visibility Report in the past, they acted like there was no such thing. I take it there is no way for us peasants to track our trucks on our own while in shipment.

With 400 pages of posts, I have not been able to find the answer I'm looking for so I am sorry if this question has been asked a million times. Now that my truck has shipped, is there a way to track the shipment. Window sticker says Rail so I assume my truck will be put on a train... If anyone knows how to track the shipping to see if my truck is sitting in a yard or actually on the move, please let me know. Thanks.

I'm not refuting that they put an order in in September. I have the dealer's forwarded email. What concerns me is the date Ford shows and the dealer used the terminology "reset your order in November". On paper it looks like I went to the back of the line in November. Hope that makes sense.

Good News Bad News... I'm hoping someone can help me and clear something up... I finally received a build date this morning. My build date is "the week of May 30th". I'm honestly numb about it because by the time it is built, and the 3 to 6 weeks it takes to deliver the truck, it will have been over 9 months since I ordered the truck. However, please note the Order Confirmed Date. I ordered my truck on September 27th. I had never received any email, especially not the confirmation email from Ford. The dealer forwarded a COVP confirmation email to me showing a 9/27/21 order date. After waiting a couple months, and asking about my email address, they said the email address was entered wrong. They corrected it and I did finally get an email from Ford in November (11/19). I asked at the time if I had just lost my place in line, but was reassured, no... they just fixed my email address. When I confronted the dealer about it today... he used the term "reset". Did my dealer make a huge blunder (I really want to use other words but I'll refrain) and did I lose nearly two months of wait time because they reset my order to correct my email address??? I really feel like I have been lied to right now. On paper, it looks like I lost my place in line.

I'd like to say soon... but I'm skeptical. I ordered my Lariat CC BAP 6.7 September 27, 2021. Still no build date. My sales rep is telling me I am now "locked in" at priority 2. However, he told me in January I am priority 2. I'm not certain "locked in" means anything different. Sounds like a way to get me off his back for a few days???

Does anyone know how many Super Duties are built each day or week or month right now?

After my little overnight rant (thanks for indulging me) a couple of you asked what my order is: Ordered 9/27/2021 - COVP Approved; Supposedly I was upgraded to Priority 2 in January. If true, I've been Priority 2 for 3 months. F-350 Lariat Carbonized Gray Crew Cab 6'9" Bed 6.7L Power Stroke 4x4 3.31 Elec Locking FX4 Ultimate Trailer Tow Heavy Front Suspension Black Appearance Package Lariat Ultimate Package 11,400 SRW 5th Wheel / Goose Neck Prep Goose Neck Hitch 397 Amp Alternator I have not read every message in this thread... but I'm afraid I hit every highlight in the commodity issues??? Right???? I'm at 6 months... maybe I'll get lucky and see my truck on September 27, 2022 exactly one year after my order??? Again, I'm just flabbergasted that after 2 years of this nonsense US Manufacturers can't figure their way out of a wet paper bag. Someone is making a ton of money off these supply chain issues otherwise they'd already be resolved...

Hello gang. I ordered my F-350 25 weeks ago on September 27, 2021. It's SWB, Lariat, 6.7 Diesel. I am new to this forum. So my question is going to be redundant by I am beyond frustration, especially when I see Lariat orders in January are getting build dates. My dealer only provides BS patronizing to me which I can see straight through. I tried contacting the sales manager or customer relations at the dealer. My call got re-routed back to my salesman who continues to give information that is meaningless. The latest line of garbage is: my salesman called me this evening to say, "You are going to receive an email from Ford. It is going to say your order will be filled soon (which the email did not say)" He went on to tell me that Ford is now shutting down all future orders for '22 Super Duties so I should receive a build date very soon (which is what he told me in September, and October, and November, and...). He also said that '23 orders will not be taken until December of this year. Then he tells me it is going to take until the end of the year to work through the '22 backlog. I've asked him whether plants are open or not; whether there is a chip shortage affecting my order; can he tell me what parts are delaying my order. As I'm sure other's have experience... absolutely zero customer care and zero reliable, meaningful information. - Are there other's still out there that order in September or even earlier that are still waiting for build dates and VINs? - What is reality? Is Ford even building trucks? - Did Ford really shut down future orders? How does this even help me when I've been waiting for 6 months for a build date and VIN? - Is it really going to take until the end of the year to work through the back log? I'm afraid I'm not going to see my truck until September, October, or even later this year. - All I want to know is where I am in line. I can wait in line, but not knowing where I am in line is very frustrating. It's worst than those stupid ques at Disney land where you wind wind wind, think you are close, then turn a corner and there are 7 more layers of winding. - This whole thing is ridiculous... I am dumbfounded that after two years that US Manufacturers can't pull there heads out of where ever they are stuck and fix all of this. Weren't we the USA at one time. Weren't we the model of Capitalism and Consumption everyone wanted to be??? Silly me for wanting a good work truck for work... Extremely frustrated... feel alone in this... just needed to vent.
