No not x plan.

I am beyond frustrated and confused at this point and looking for some help. I ordered and signed my order document on 12/2/2021 it was confirmed on 12/3/2021. My VIN was assigned in early August of 2022 the same day my salesman quit the dealership. I noticed that the truck I ordered did not have powered steps so I went to the dealership to meet the new salesman and discuss the powered steps. At that time he informed me the truck had gone up almost 4K in price. I explained Price Protection to him and he had to get his GM. From that point on I only dealt with the GM. One week later he was able to get the steps added as originally ordered and did ensure me I was price protected. In Oct around the first promised ship date I met with the finance office to discuss payment. I was ensured price protection then too but that I would have to pay the full price and they would reimburse me. The GM called the regional rep while I was in the room and she confirmed this. Chip hold, shipping delays, my truck is finally ready for pick up on 12/24/2022 - One year and 22 days after order. I sit back with the finance guy (who is great) and discuss payment, he tell me about a $3,500 rebate. I verify with him that that is not replacing the price protection refund and he he goes and get the GM who then tells me it is not price protected, they have a new regional rep and he said the truck isn't price protected. I show my frustration and tell them I would like answers on how a 2 month shipping delay cost me $5,500.00. He told me to take the truck, did not make me make payment, and we would get it sorted out this week. I sent him all the documentation I could find on this forum and others as well as the You Tube video. The sales manager whom i have never talked to before called me yesterday and stated there was no price protection, and I either needed to bring the truck back, bring him a check, or he would call the owner of the vehicle (I am assuming that is Ford) and they would come take their truck back. I said have the GM call me. He did, he said his guy didn't have a right to call me and that we would figure it out this week and to hold onto the truck. I just called Ford Marketing (1-800-334-4375), hoping to get someone on my side or tell me how to deal with getting the rebate myself if I do end up paying full price and they state Price Protection is an individual dealership option. That blew my mind as everything I have seen and heard is contrary to this and now I dont know what the F to do. I have a garage full of accessories, sold my other truck, and not interested in waiting another year for another group of hassles. @akirby @ice-capades or anyone else have any suggestions or contacts I can reach out too?

I am in the same boat as you with my order. Had a build week of 8/15, tracker shows in production 8/21, I received this same email on 8/24. Window sticker on the ford tracker went away but still available on OrderTrack.app both the ford tracker options and the window sticker show the delete. I am hoping that it has something to do with the announcement of the seats and we still might get them, but with the modules already being populated I am sure that we won't. After waiting almost 10 months, my order was confirmed 12/1/2021 I definitely would have waited two more weeks to get the seats I wanted.

I am in the same boat, had build week of 8/15, tracker shows in production 8/21, modules got populated, and the next dang day they announced the 9/5 date for the return of the MC seats. After a 9 month wait I would definitely wait an additional two weeks to get the seats I wanted! No movement in production all week, got the sorry for the delay email last night and then my window sticker disappeared of of the tracker, but is still on the Ordertrack.app site. Fingers crossed the delay means seats, but I am not holding my breath.

Nope... still nothing!

I have a build week of 8/1 but the window sticker is still not available as of this morning, should I be expecting a bump in production?

Went in to see the Sales Manger on Friday and he verified that my truck does indeed have the Tremor step bars and not the Powered Steps that I requested with the salesman. The order sheet does not show either so I am not sure how I was supposed to verify that option. With the VIN already assigned it is too late to correct anything and I have a build date of 7/18. He was stating 5 week delivery for the end of August if everything goes perfect. So now I am thinking, it might be best to walk away from this truck, wait a month and order MY 2023 and get the truck I want with all of the options I want and hopefully the MC Seats. Then he said I lost price protection when I removed the spray in, fifth wheel prep, and tonneau cover based on the salesman's recommendation. I told him I didn't change the engine type or trim package so I should still be covered. Got the shoulder shrug and the comment that he would check on it. If I do go the 2023 route I will be looking for a new dealership for sure! If anyone has any suggestions I am looking for ideas on this.

Has there been indication if the MC Seat delete is going to be mandatory when the 2023 ordering opens?

I am pretty frustrated that it seems like my truck was on hold for the MC Seat issue and not any of the restraints I removed. Seeing trucks being build now that were ordered after mine with the 5th wheel prep and spray in liner, sure makes me wish that I hadn't heard those were the hold up. Especially since I was just quoted over $2,400.00 for the prep when it was originally going to cost $595.00. Oh well at least I have my $300.00 Credit LOL.

I was just scheduled two week ago for a production week 6/27 - guess we know why now. To be clear this is effecting everyone that is in production or scheduled for production now as well or just the trucks that aren't scheduled yet? Guess the only way to know for sure is wait for the window sticker.

Well this isn't great news. I was excited to finally be scheduled but now may have to wait even longer knowing the truck is completed sitting in a parking lot somewhere. Is this a chip shortage across the board?

Order confirmed 12/2/2021 Got my awaited email today scheduled build for 6/27, for my F250 Platinum Tremor 6.7 Diesel, removed the tonneau cover, bed liner, and fifth wheel prep awhile back it hurt to do so, but did in hopes of getting a truck this year. I was very excited until I noticed the production picture and options listing on the tracker still had the Tremor fixed black step bars on the truck when I ordered the power steps. Is this something to worry about or wait until the window sticker comes out? With both the platinum and tremor packages neither step was an upgrade so I am just hoping it is a mistake. Missing power steps would be alot bigger deal than a bed liner to me.
