  1. I greatly appreciate all the help and concern you’ve shown those of us who’ve been following this forum all these months. My problem is that since my salesman is the owner there’s nowhere to go that’s over his head except to another dealer and start over.
  2. When I placed the order it was a priority 10. On Feb 12 it was moved to priority 2 and he told me it was too late to make any changes (such as dropping 5wp, bed spray and tonneau cover etc) without losing my place in line. (What line?). I placed my order with the owner who’s continuing response is: ”Ford does not share lead time with dealers until a build week is set. We then expect the vehicle to arrive here about 30 days later. We are still waiting for Ford to assign a build week.”
  3. For your sense of perspective as you navigate the up, downs, ins and outs of the current purchasing process at Ford, consider this. I reached my one year anniversary yesterday: 9/13/21 to 9/13/22 and still NO email from Ford. Ever! And yes I’ve confirmed multiple times that they have my correct email address. All I have ever been told when I contact them is “waiting to be scheduled”. My dealer says it’s out of his hands, it’s up to Ford.
  4. Good news, This is an opportunity to gain patience, join the club! 09/13/21
  5. Any news regarding whether unscheduled 22’s will become 23’s or will those of us with unscheduled 22’s have to just start over?
  6. I’m right there with you F450, I’m at 299 and I’m still waiting for a vin and a schedule. F350 Lariat CCSB w/ everything on it. Misery loves company.
  7. It’s hard to imagine a more confusing process than Ford’s decision to go all “retail order” without the dealers having an input regarding the process. Ford says “talk to your dealer” while my dealer says “it’s up to Ford, there’s nothing I can do”! To me it sounds like a poorly planned policy implementation regardless of extenuating circumstances like Covid, supply chain issues, etc. Order: 9/13/21 Confirm: 9/14/21 Now in “Production Scheduling” for the last three weeks. I can almost smell that new truck smell. F350 CCSB Lariat Ultimate with everything but BAP & AS.
  8. Thanks for that response. Somehow it gives me hope. I guess I ordered too many difficult options.
  9. My dealer told me the zone rep changed my 9/13 order to priority 2 on Feb 2, and it’s still…….8 1/2 months.?! F350 Lariat CCSB. Lots of later retail orders have been delivered with the the same options.
  10. I just contacted Ford and was told I’m still unscheduled clean after 8 1/2 months. As a USAF Viet Nam veteran I thank you for your kind words. God Bless all our veterans.
  11. I second that!! Confirmed: 9/14/21 Priority 2 since 2/12/21 F350 CCSB Lariat Ultimate remains Unscheduled
  12. Just for reference, my order F350 CCSB was confirmed 9/14/21 priority code 10. In Feb I was notified by my dealer that Ford had moved it to priority code 2. Just before he left Ford cyberdman told me it was clean not scheduled. Nothing since. Not much to go on.
  13. I ordered 9/13, confirmed 9/14 and I am still waiting. Count yourself lucky.
  14. Thank very much for all you do. I read all you rules. Dealer code: 74477 Order #: 0913 Thanks
  15. Does anybody know how you give Ford your contact information if they didn’t get it when you placed the order?
  16. Sorry, I asked him what would happen if the factory re-tooled for the ‘23’s. He told me “That’s a good question’”, and he owns the dealership.
  17. I’m in the US but ordered my F350 Lariat 9/13/21 immediately got priority code 10. In Feb 2022 I was notified it had moved to priority code 2. Nothing since. I contacted Ford last week and was told Unscheduled Clean. Just for reference.
  18. 9/13, still hopeful that someday I’ll get a message.
  19. I know you want to know when your new truck will be built but during these unusual times Ford is having unprecedented supply problems. Please be patient. I’ve been waiting 218 days for some word on when my new truck will be built but nothing yet.
  20. I got bounced around between dealers including through the Costco buying program until I walked into a small dealer outside the metro area. The salesman who greeted me was the owner. While he’s almost as in the dark about the progress of my order as I am, he has been no less than excellent to deal with. He’s old school. What a joy.
  21. Your truck is in the rail carrier’s control. You should ask your dealer, as the consignee, if he has the ability to direct which truck carrier is used to complete the shipment. If he does not or doesn’t know the answer you’ll need to contact the railroad agent in charge of the shipment.
  22. I am not only new to this forum I have never posted on a forum before this one. I have just read all of the rules re: vehicle locater by cyberdman and have a question. Do I understand correctly that before I can post my info there to get an update, I have to have posted fifteen accecptable/legitimate times on any BlueOval forum subsite or on a specific sub site? Forgive me, I’m an old guy and I don’t know the etiquette.
  23. Ice-capades is right on as usual. As a former portable parking lot driver I delivered Fords and other makes from multiple rail yards to dealerships all over the northwest.
  24. I guess misery loves company, though I wince when I hear 82 days. I hope he realizes how fortunate he is.
