Hang in there, took delivery of mine today. Was ordered Dec 2021, built 3/22...and sat for over 10 months awaiting shipping. I'd lost all hope until I got the shipped notification. KTP to my driveway was 13 days.

Well, this is a post I'd NEVER thought I'd make...but she's finally home! I got in on this thread back when is was a free for all and everyone was looking for answers on their order, me included. ? So drumroll please, the numbers you've all been waiting for.... 7.3 Lariat Ultimate, LED Headlights, spray in liner, heated steering wheel, optional larger tires, and other things I'm surely missing. Truck came in still smelling new, no faded plastic that I can tell so far, paint looks good with no issues, truck drives straight and true. Slight rust on driveshaft yokes, but to be expected, slight rust on manifolds but nothing excessive. Wherever it was stored was a dust bowl and will need a deep cleaning to my liking, but all in all it's in excellent condition. 401 days since ordered 313 days since built, waiting to ship Came with 28 miles on the odometer Dealer honored price from order at $61,800 out the door! Can't say it was a painless experience, but I'm just glad it's over. Thanks to all that offered support and telling me to hang in there because I just about walked too many times.to count! Now to start putting on all the accessories I've had for entirely too long sitting in the corner. Forscan mods are top priority and will be done tomorrow. Now to get out there and enjoy this redhead.

Mines on the way...FINALLY! Left on a train Sunday. Last update it's been handed off to UP now. VinView and the VVR both show a 2/2 delivery. Shall see how accurate that is, but I'm just glad it's moving now.

10 months later...it's finally shipped!

No one can explain why it's taken so long, nor can tell me where the truck actually is. All I know is that it's built and clean, released from the factory. Have the screenshot from an insider at the plant showing so. Found out today it was pushed out again. Currently in my delivery week. My luck it will be the very last 2022 model to leave the Speedway and ship. I'll have my 2023 by then probably.

Ordered 12/30/21 Built 3/28/22 clean, no holds. 10 months later and it still hasn't shipped.

379 days since ordered. 291 days waiting to ship since completion.

I have a strong suspicion that you'll start seeing more and more completed trucks that have been sitting starting to ship now that the 2022's are over and done with. They now have room to load the trains with waiting/ completed trucks, rather than trucks coming off the line. Should see some major movement in the coming days.

Discount would come from Ford itself, not the dealer. I've already thrown that out there in our talks to the Regional Manager and Corporate Ford. Dealer no doubt wants me to walk, but that's not gonna happen. I'll buy something else and then turn around and buy the one on order so the dealer can't have the chance to mark it up. They are 10k over msrp out of state, 2k in state/area on stock units. Even if I didn't buy it I won't release it to the dealer. MSRP is about $4800- 6000 over what I am price protected at since ordering last year. Invoice pricing and 2 stackable PCO's that total an additional 5k off invoice price. But yeah, I got the purple shaft on this deal. I will NEVER do business with them again after this. We've done all the leg work on trying to get this truck delivered, dealer hasn't done shit! I will not order a 23 either. I'm gun shy with any ordering from Ford, for good reason.

Anything is possible at this point. I do know as of 3/28 it was completed from an extended production delay. Confirmed by a generous plant employee that it was clean, needed nothing, all concerns closed, even sent me a screenshot of said report. Was released to shipper 3/29. Missed it's first scheduled delivery of 4/14. No idea where it was from 4/14-9/22 until it was moved to ramp 1k where it still continues to sit..as far as I know, continually missing scheduled delivery dates. Latest dates we THOUGHT was the end of the wild ride was 11/24-11/30. Nope! Went to 12/4-12/10. Nope! Now 12/11-12/17. Never notified of the new dates. Only found out by accident today. Ford and it's contracted shipper have major issues that need immediate attention and improvement! It doesn't take 9 months to ship a completed vehicle when dealers are getting stock units daily. If...IF I take delivery of this Phantom truck, I will demand a discount on top the good deal I already got. A model yr old and 9 months old since birth is worth the 20% depreciation in value if you ask me. It's depreciated and hasn't even been delivered yet! Typically it's a 20% hit as soon as you leave the lot. I think that's more than fair in this case.

I emailed them last week. Got a call 5hrs later. Thought I had a good chance of something happening for a change. Well missed the latest dates and new ones issued again. Called them back today and got the run around. I'm less optimistic now that it's going to show up before years end. I know I've said it in the past, but 12/30 is my absolute walk away. That's 1 year to the day since ordering, 9 freaking months since completed and not shipped. Yeah I'll over pay on something else, but it is what it is. I'll still more than likely buy the one I ordered and turn around and sell it so the shitty dealer can't mark it up.

I'm not waiting on a truck driver, I'm waiting on the train ride from KTP. That's the problem. Over 8 months since completed. Dealer is 20 minutes from rail yard so getting it to there is nothing.

75 days myself after being moved to ramp 1k. 253 days overall waiting to ship. Now Ford Corporate is of no help! GMC Denali or a used low miles 22 is looking better and better. Got my new dates, but it still hasn't shipped to be here on the 10th. Nothing but excuse after excuse from Ford. I can only be abused so long before I leave this relationship. Ford is doing a superb job of f**king us.

Yes! You are eligible for the rates that were applicable at the time the order was placed. When the wife ordered her car in Jan/22, she was eligible for the rates. Car didn't arrive until 5/22. You have to push the finance person on this. Ours volunteered the information. Google search may yield the document stating so.

Bad ECM? How'd they drive it around to be loaded up? Something sounds amiss. Anyway, I took your advice and emailed the list of people you posted. Got a call back about 5 hrs later. Good,encouraging conversation on my issue. We'll see what happens soon enough.

I can't speak of the shipping between plants,well, that I know of, but mine has been missing delivery windows for 8 months now, 250 days waiting on a train. If the previous poster was correct on drivers given a list of trucks to load and couldn't find them,then given another list and the same thing happen, I can see why the current shipping methods and procedures are a shit show. That would explain the hit or miss in shipping for most of us. I can see the ones that have shipped have been directly off the assembly line and loaded on a rail car right then. If they run out of cars, then it's pushed to the side to sit until more empty rail cars arrive and the process is repeated day in,day out. Now the truck that missed the rail car yesterday, is blocked in by others that missed a ride as well, but now it's farther in the back. The ones parked in front of it will load first if THEY aren't blocked in. And there you have a never ending rail delay situation that we all are experiencing. My opinion, it should be first in, first out, not first in, whenever it gets out.That's the smart,fair way of doing business.

So what's everyone's thoughts on all the unfinished 2022 models sitting at the racetrack? Ford only has around 4 weeks left to complete all the scheduled builds before the Christmas break and re-tool for the upcoming 23 model. What about all the thousands of unfinished 22's? Will they piece meal those here and there as parts become available, or will they mix them in with the new model on the line? I highly doubt unfortunately that the 22's at the track will be top priority once the 23 model begins production. Shipping is the next hurdle. How far into 2023 will they continue to deliver the 2022 models,especially when the 2023's start arriving at the dealers? As most of you know the shipping process is as bad,if not worse than waiting on a vin# and production. I know this firsthand at 8 months of waiting for a completed vehicle, with no holds to ship! Now add an impending rail strike to the mix, and we'll never see these vehicles in 2022! Ford should really re-evaluate the shipping procedures and offer a more viable alternative than rail shipping.

Mine started at 2 weeks after built, then went to monthly bumps after until mid September, then went 3 bumps at 2 weeks each,respectively. Then started the monthly bumps again. Delivery week starts 11/24-11/30. I FULLY expect to get a bump again for the end of December/ first of Jan 2023. Mind you, all this shipping delay shit started 8 months ago.

100% this post! I'm at 8 months of shipping delays, yet my dealer as well is receiving stock units. Great way to make your customers priority #1, Ford!

I'm one of the few still waiting on my 22 to ship. It's only been 227 days since being built and awaiting shipping! Fully expect to not see it this year, or ever actually. More than likely, if i do see it driving down the road, it'll be with someone else behind the wheel. Only have a couple more weeks until I walk away altogether. It's been a very disappointing, expensive, and hard lesson to learn. Thanks Ford!?

Ford finally got involved a few weeks back about the long delay in shipping. Not much has changed unfortunately.

Jefferson TX is 20 minutes away from me. They don't have a yard there though. Mine will deliver to Shreveport La, then go across the Stateline to dealer...another 20 min ride. Hope it will actually get assigned a railcar # and be on its way soon. Thanks for the information, and congrats on the new ride.

That's not too bad then. I've been waiting for months, whats another couple of months! Was built in March, just got to the ramp from what the VVR shows now. Supposedly it's been marked HOT by Ford from what I hear now because of the wait time. Shall see.

Well, I'm gonna be "that guy" now. VVR shows truck is FINALLY at ramp 1K after 192 days of waiting for it to get there. To the ones that have shipped from that ramp, what's the wait time? Shipping to Tx. Just listed my 21 Tremor for sale, so I don't want to be another 192 days waiting for it to leave the ramp and be without a truck.
