  1. Keep us posted. I'm very interested in how hard/difficult it will be as well as the cost of doing so. You're going to need the middle seat (duh) but also some dash components. I'd also like to see what they're hiding under the cup holders...
  2. I got my order in this morning: F350 Crew Cab 8' bed Bench seat Standard output 6.7 diesel 3.31 e-lock differential FX4 6" step bars Supplemental cab heater 5th wheel prep package Upfitter switches Roof lights Tailgate step
  3. I will be very interested to see whether the HUD can be added to a 40/20/40 vehicle. I'm assuming that the Lariat dash board will have the cutout to mount the HUD module. My biggest question is whether it's as "simple" as mounting the HUD, plugging it in, and turning it on via Forscan (assuming Forscan still works on the new electrical architecture).
  4. I just got a message from my dealer that the order banks are open, but the system is "a cluster" and that they can't even get through the order screen.
  5. I'll be ordering with the X plan. My understanding is that pricing is no longer guaranteed if you change anything with the order.
  6. Does anyone know why the deployable running boards cannot be put on a truck without a center console? Does it have to do with the wiring harness or something? Is it possible to put the factory deployable running boards on a truck without the center console?
  7. Oh, yes, I see. Option 85G. I already had that highlighted and skipped right over it when I saw your note. Thanks!
  8. So, the only way to get the tailgate step on a lariat is to get the lariat ultimate package? Balls!
  9. I don't see any way to get the tailgate down camera without getting the KR or above trim.
  10. Since the Gooseneck and fifth wheel trailers block the rear tail lights, does the gooseneck/fifth wheel BLIS require additional sensors be put on the trailer? If so, that seems like something that would be available as an aftermarket/accessory feature and not have to be ordered with the truck.
  11. I'm referring to: "5th Wheel/Gooseneck Trailer BLIS System (J2 availability on all trim levels)" Is that different than the regular Trailer BLIS system?
  12. I'm confused on how the Job 1 vs. Job 2 order banks work. The Job 1 order banks allow scheduling of Lariat models, but it also says that you cannot order trucks with the trailer BLIS system until Job 2. However, the Lariat model comes standard with the trailer BLIS. Does this mean that if I order a Lariat for Job 1 that the truck will not come with the trailer BLIS and if I want that feature I need to wait until February?
  13. Not being familiar with vehicle sales, it seems odd to me as well. But, it sounds like releasing the order guide on the same day that orders are first received is pretty common.
  14. Sorry for my ignorance, but is the USOB the same as the Order Bank that's scheduled to open on October 20?
  15. Will pricing information be released before the order banks open?
  16. I'm interested to see the possible configurations. It looks like the Lariat F-150 is getting rid of the bench seat and I'm super curious to see if they do that for the Super Dutys as well.
  17. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think any specifications have been leaked about the new model year trucks. All we know is basically what it'll look like based on some camouflaged test trucks and one leaked video from the factory of the new dash. I suspect that we'll have to wait until Tuesday for any hope of details like towing and payload capacities. If I were you, I wouldn't expect any dramatic changes, though. But what do I know?
  18. It looks like the 2023 Ford Super Duty will be an "all new" model that will be revealed at the Texas Auto Show, which is held from September 30-October 23 this year. That's not very specific on timing of the Super Duty unveiling, but at least it's something. For me, who's waiting on order banks to open to put in for a 2023 model, the good news is that it's "all new." Here's hoping that that its actually got some updated features (interior) and not just "all new" paint color options. https://texasautoshow.bigtex.com/fords-2020-lineup-in-the-virtual-automobile-building-truck-zone/
  19. It looks like the Lariat model is no longer available with the front bench seat. Any ideas whether this will carry over to the super duty? I’m planning on a ‘23 F350 Lariat and prefer the bench seat.
