  1. Controversial take but I don’t mind the halogens. They seem fine. To be fair I’ve never had LEDs on a truck so maybe I haven’t seen the light figuratively and literally.
  2. Finally got it. Only ~15 months my main concern right now is that the windshield wipers do not go all the way down. They are only a few inches higher than where they should be. Now I have to weigh whether the added hassle of getting the warranty work is worth it. anyways here it is. Extremely happy to have a keyed ignition. “I’d be asking the question of why so many miles I can see 100 or less but 350 is a lot ” i found out that their delivery method was to drive the vehicle rather than trailer it. My dealer is 2-hours away. Being rural is difficult sometimes.
  3. Thanks man. i really like your red truck. im taking delivery tomorrow if all goes to plan. I’ll post pics but it’s fairly basic. 7.3 SCSB XL STX with bedliner and carpet delete. dealer says it has about 350 miles on it. Which I am not happy about but whatever at this point. mine sat for 5 months awaiting shipment but was ordered way back in Nov 2021 so it has been a LONG wait. Nearly 15 months ugh. will hopefully be back tomorrow night with some pictures of the precious.
  4. Ordered Nov 2021 built aug/sep 2022 delivered hopefully 2023 it sounds like a Johnny cash song. I’m incredibly disappointed in ford. i got a fairly basic XL/StX to try and avoid extra delays. hopefully my 14 and a half month wait ends soon.
  5. Oof. This thread is becoming a misery party lol. 14 months since order (retail) over 4 months awaiting shipment. I just might lose it if 2023’s are delivered before my truck.
  6. i sent corri an email a couple weeks ago. Just got a response saying it’s still waiting to ship. it Seems like it is lost in the sea of trucks. I’ve been waiting 4 months for it to ship. I’ve been waiting 14 months since I ordered.
  7. I think part of the frustration is the shipping delays. im at 4-months awaiting shipment. Others are twice that. Supply chain is one thing but long delays in shipping, much less, delivering the completed product was something I did not anticipate or expect. I know others are in the same boat. There really is no magic bullet and that there are inevitably wasted resources in all the solutions. These plants run on lean or six sigma principles so I’m guessing profit margins are taking precedence to a degree. You can’t keep all customers happy…only some. My frustration is seeing multiple stock ordered trucks getting delivered and also dealing with rising interest rates. I also do think I have been patient. I ordered in 2021 and it’s now 2023 for a basic trim level vehicle. Anyways, take care and I hope everyone has a good 2023
  8. Production usually gets shut down for retooling, maintenance, and cleaning, but not logistics. Logistics keeps on rolling. Pun intended. Fingers crossed for myself and all you.
  9. this gives me reassurance that they are now getting to the backlog. I’m happy for ya. I would not have made it this far if not for the deposit I had to pay and you all to commiserate with. still sitting here waiting for my November 2021 order that was built 9 September 22.
  10. I’m guessing what happened to yours probably happened to mine. The delivery windows are a sham to make us feel good. Per my email from them I understand that Ford has an internal tentative date on which they will schedule your truck for shipment. I’m in my 6th delivery window but my tentative date to schedule for shipment is actually 21 December. hope this puts some at ease a bit. Even if it’s uncomfortable ease it’s at least something.
  11. Ordered my truck over a year ago. It would be nice if they shipped older orders first though.
  12. Got this from ford after my inquiry to corporate… but the update was that my truck has been sitting built awaiting shipment for over 90 days and they might schedule it for shipment in 2 weeks. At least someone is trying to help but this is not the news I wanted to hear. i would like to say thanks to whoever posted those corporate e-mails. Here’s to hoping for the best, but I am nothing short of disappointed at ford in general. “I just wanted to let you know that currently you are showing a tentative scheduling date of 12/21/22. The Tracker may show that this is the estimated delivery time frame to the Dealer. That is not correct, your vehicle is in the waiting for shipment category at this time. Due to levels of production and transit driver shortages, we are running behind in the shipping of completed vehicles. I have my contacts looking into the possibility of having the vehicle tagged for shipping sooner rather than later, however, I cannot make any promises beyond doing my best.”
  13. I guess the only update is my next delivery estimate is this Friday to December 1st. my delivery estimates seem to be pushing 1-week out at a time now which is not consistent with what I have seen for others. Regardless, my truck sits awaiting shipment via rail from KTP.
  14. Much the same as everyone else. ordered/confirmed XL November 23 2021. Built and no holds on September 8 2022. Multiple shipping delays and is still at the plant. my dealer has 7 dealer ordered F-250s in transit. Frustrated but commiserating.

    Hi all

Looking forward to a new 2022 super duty. I’m going to put it to work up in Vermont. We got snow today so that’s fun.
  16. Your situation sounds nearly identical to mine. My truck has been built and released for shipment as of 8 September. There are no holds on it according to the VVR. It’s still sitting in a parking lot. i ordered my truck a year ago so I get your frustration.
