I heard from my dealer that this is the last year you can buy a diesel pick up (2024) in California, has anyone heard this or know if it's true?

When I picked up my F450 Lariat Ultimate a few weeks ago, my salesman said they had 6 dealerships call wanting my truck! He said once it's on the transport truck to dealer, all other dealers can see who has what for inventory. So, if you don't want to take delivery of your ordered truck, they will gladly sell it for over MSRP!

It finally showed up at dealer this morning!!! After 8 months from ordering, it arrived! It still needs spray in bedliner and PDI, but I get to bring her home tomorrow! Dealer sent me this pic early this morning.

Thanks! I just got off the phone with sales manager and he said it's still in Kansas City. New arrival date is 4/5 to 4/11.

Can the physical location of a vehicle in shipment be located? Is this possible from someone at the dealership? It would be nice know if it's close or still a long way away.

I'm getting frustrated now... my delivery date had been moved for the 3rd time! Now it says 4/2 to 4/15! This window is worse than the cable guy widow they give you! Original delivery was 3/10 to 3/16. 🤬

Does anyone know the shipping time from KY to CA? Is it shipped by train or transport? Truck was shipped 3/21 according to the Ford app.

Maybe this explains why my F450 has been sitting in KY since 2/7/24 build date. Its expected delivery is any day now to So Cal.

My truck was built 2/7/24, I don't know why it's taking so long to be delivered?

I'm going on 8 months now since order, it's been bumped twice now for expected delivery date. As of yesterday, my dealer says 3/24-3/30 for bee expected delivery date. My order is a F450 H.O 6.7 Lariat with the Ultimate Pkg for the big items.

Dealer says it was built 2/8/24 and shows offsite. Ford app still shows in production. Dealer says my expected delivery date is 3/10-3/15.

My tracker says "in production" and it mentions checking window sticker lower in page, but nothing there.... yet. Scheduled build date of 2/5/24, looks like ahead of schedule.

Just got my scheduled production date! The week of 3/5/24.

I ordered a F450 Lariat Ultimate DRW with 5th wh prep and hitch in Rapid Red on 8/1/23. My dealer contacted me last week to let me know scheduled build date is early Feb and delivery is early March 2024.

I have a F450 Lariat w/Ultimate pkg, 6.7 H.O engine, 5th wh trailer prep and hitch, Baja interior, spray bed liner, and towing technology for the big items. Rapid red paint.

Good news for me finally! My dealer just emailed me with a scheduled build date in first week of Feb 2024, with early March delivery!!! ?

And you are doing better than me... I don't even have a confirmed order. My dealer order was submitted 8/01/23.

I'm sure your dealer has a lot more allocations than mine, I'm in so call nowhere near an area that sell many super duty trucks. According to my dealer, there is no hold ups on my order. He sounded pretty confident my order will be built. How are you liking your new truck?

I just talked to my dealer today, I got the same reply from him... unscheduled clean. I asked him my chances of my truck getting built, he said it will get built and they assigned me the lowest (best) priority number. Sounded like good news to me! Other that that news today, I haven't received any new notifications. My order was placed last week of July 2023 and I am one of the first orders on their list. My options are Lariat w/ultimate pkg, 6.7 HO, Baja interior, 5th wh prep with hitch, spray in bed liner, drop down running boards, pro pack and Rapid Red paint for the bigger options.
