  1. Hereditary, but you inherit form your mother's side. Maternal grandfather, not father, is the indicator.
  2. Make sure that it's not just a blown head gasket.
  3. A broken piston ring is very easy to diagnose, no need to tear apart the motor, just do a leakdown compression test. Ford has no responsibility in this at this point, the responsibility is entirely yours, good luck.
  4. Good lord, Oli is going to be a stockbroker? Interesting how life pans out. I can see him now, middle aged balding family guy in his super expensive foreign import sports car. Good luck Oli, the market will be good until 2012, but watch out for the SouthEast Asia stocks, China is going to crash in a year or two.
  5. Yeah, kinda the same thing here. I thought that we were all banned after the HITMAN/Union fiasco, man that was fun! Still have the '00 GT, just put 4 new coils on plug in, that fixed up a lot of problems, including the 1-2 shift lag. Have a '04 F150 Lariat now, spend some time on the F150 Forums as TysonsLariat, Redbone, sadly, was already taken. Also spent some time on the Philosophy Forum battling liberals, that is where I went after BON. Never did have a Cobra, probably never will. Like the '08 Challenger, though, but will probably never see one of them, either. But my real love is the 2006 Super D, 200mph never exceed, +6 -5 Gs, cruises at 140 and stalls at ~50. Very fun.
  6. Well, it certainly has been awhile. Good writeup there, oldracer, you could and should write for a mag. Made me feel a bit like I do when I am flying my baby.
