KWMJ-KTP Posted March 1, 2007 Share Posted March 1, 2007 As for the pay rate at KTP, they are getting 70% base pay plus the COLA, which works out to around $20.00, but don't know the exact amount down to the penny. I believe that they are also getting shift premiums which is 5% on B-Crew and 10% on C-Crew. We too are having the escessively high dropout rate too. With a line speed of 89 Units Per Hour, I think these people are quick to realize that these jobs are no joke. As mentioned above, many don't come back the 2nd day or disappear after the first break. I had been told that 70 have quit so far, and I think they have only brought in about 130-150 so far. The rumors are that we have about 400 coming in during April, so May 1 may be a big buy-out date if that rumor is true -- assuming that they have any tft's left to replace them with.
