dogydog
We need a Mustang GT to beat the horsepower of the new Dodge Challenger & Chevy Camaro. And I don't mean something in the price range of the GT500. It also needs to meet or beat the gas mileage of the new Camaro. Give us a Mustang with plenty of options: Gas hood struts Remote gas filler door & trunk realease Two-tone leather interior More wheel & tire options: 20" & 22" Cold air induction 5 or 6 speed auto-stick similar to Chrysler, etc. Shift lever similar to T-Bird or 2007 Expedition Fog/driving lights in the bumper similar to GT500 Functional Hood Scoops similar to GT500 Duck-tail as well as spoiler delete 6-way power for both front seats Navigation system, even if it is portable Sequential tail lights running from bumper to bumper (similar to '68 Cougar) Glove box and courtesy lights Just to mention a few
CanadianBoy
Go to www.turbomustangs.com. I think we need something along these lines for a base and then use a small Boss to compete with the Challenger. Dodge can still use the Cuda, Roadrunner, Hornet and others to leave the Ford guys in the dust. Go to www.turbomustangs.com. Throw all those things into the Mustang GT with an engine with 400+ HP and you're looking at a vehicle that would cost MORE than the GT500. Other observations: There already is a two-tone leather option. Cold air induction...umm.....don't ALL vehicles have that now??
