Mower Man
Does anyone know why I can't get factory satellite radio on a regular cab? My salesman said it is only an option on the Supercab and Crew cab trucks. I wouls also like the overhead storage area, but again it is not available for the regular cab. Thanks. Meelaan
Probably because regular cab trucks are no longer in vogue. Every truck I see is always an extended cab. It's pretty much the status quo. Regular cab trucks have been relegated to work truck sales--and to be priced as such do not offer some ammenities that are standard on the higher volume models. To sum it up: they want to sell you an extended cab, not a regular cab. Edited July 23, 2007 by Meelaan
Sportscraft
My guess also is maybe the sat unit is located underneath one of the rear seats, which you don't have in the reg cab. I'm sure the radio itself is the same though and have all the provisions, so you should be able to find an aftermarket piece that will integrate into the factory stereo.
