dunkin Posted October 6, 2007 Share Posted October 6, 2007 with chrysler being picked as the next contract target its apparent that fords will not follow the gm agreement. fords being in the worst financial shape of all the big 3, by leaving fords till last to agree to a contract you can bet it will vary from the pattern especially after gm agreed to fund veba at 70% and agree to let jobs bank employes sit for up to two years. with fords closing 6 more plants in the next contract the jobs bank would be over flowing unless the new announced buy out program is geared more towards the senior employes.please respond with your ideas on how fords should approach these issues!!!!!!!!!!
