Intermitant problem that gradualy got worse. Just before 30K fluid was replaced as per ford recall. The fix was done right after that by my Frod dealer. replaced the solenoids and fluid. Works just fine now. Dealer said that root cause of this problem was the seals used in the solenoid design. Ford the easy way out with some type of fluid additive first...bottom line if a good mechanic services the tranny with new solenoids..I believe these were also re-engineered.
