rcallison
So I know there have been several threads already about shifting issues with the 07 Expedition, but I figured I would start a new one because my dealer told me they are doing something besides reflashing. I have had my 07 in at least 3 times, maybe 4, for issues of hard shifts into 1st from a stop or hard downshifts into 1st when coming to a stop. It got so bad shifting down this last week that it was making me nauseous to ride in the truck and I do not get car sick. In the past when I have take it in for this issue they have reflashed the transmission and I believe at one point changed a valve or gasket. I cannot get to my documentation at the moment, so that is from memory. What they are going to do now is replace the megatronics package. From what they tell me this actually replaces the transmission control valve assembly. The explanation to me was that on the 07 the used the old transmission valve setup with the new computer controller. This new valve control is supposed to allow better control of the transmission. (Hopefully I explained that correctly) We'll see if this helps.

2stangbk
So what was the outcome? Mine still has tranny issues after its 3rd visit for slippage between shifts...
