Goalie30 Posted November 18, 2008 Share Posted November 18, 2008 I am trying to decide on pulling the trigger on an 07 Limited with 14,500 miles on it. Driven by a GM at a dealership. Was wondering if the axle gears make a big difference in gas mileage. The 07 that I am looking at has 20" tires with an axle gear of 3.73. Will the 3.73 gear be less fuel efficient than the 3.31? Goalie30 Posted November 18, 2008 Author Share Posted November 18, 2008 Thanks Buzz. Forgot to mention that this is a 4x4 as well. Reading past posts - the MPG's seem to be about the same.
