Indy
Toyota recall http://www.reuters.com/article/domesticNew...E57P4UC20090826 :hysterical: HA HA! :hysterical: I thought they were friggin perfect...... I love how when we have a recall for something, it's usually something nominal like "your head light bulbs may burn out faster than normal", which then becomes front page news...... I'll bet something like this, which could prove FATAL, will only get an honorable mention in the back of the sports section by the topless club ads, if it gets printed anywhere........ Like the last one where their TRUCK FRAMES WERE RUSTING IN HALF, or maybe the one when the Tundra's ALL NEW V-8 was barfing up its camshafts....... soupy
Since the condition can happen at low temperatures, Toyota's recall applies to vehicle owners in 19 states: Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, Wisconsin and Wyoming. Sure hope nobody from down south drives up north to visit relatives this winter. Wonder how many in Canada were recalled? Sure hope people who go snow-skiing in higher elevations out west hear about this. Do used cars sold down south ever end-up in northern states? Oh-well, it's only the brakes-in winter-time! Yes, agree. What if the owner moves. Total bs. Edited August 27, 2009 by allin
