drtkrw
Our 2008 Expedition EL is staying locked in the park position because the brake lights are not receiving a singal. Upon further investigation is seems the brake pedal needs to be pulled forward to get the signal to work (this solution is not always 100% effective on the first try). Vehicle now has 37k miles so it is out of warranty (go figure). Has anybody experienced something like this or can recommend a fix? Thanks. There should be a switch attached to the brake pedal that activates the brake lights and disables the brake shift interlock.
