napfirst Posted December 23, 2009 Share Posted December 23, 2009 theres alot of idiots on here..... u all seen to have forgotten that it was Bush who from 2001 to when he left took the natl debt up 90%% even when he inherited a $236 billion surplus and in fact 98,99,2000 had a surplus and Bush cut taxes for the top 2% and immediately had a huge deficit in 2001 and beyond.. it was Bush and the GOP that rammed the Patriot Act through Congress without anyone reading it... and it was Bush who spied ILLEGALLY on everyones plone calls...if Obama had done that the wacho right wing would never let us forget about it.. ya go GOP I know lets go bomb some more countries that always works... Clinton's surplus' were a myth....... The claim is made that in Fiscal Year 2000, President Clinton ran a budget surplus of $236 billion. My previous article demonstrates that far from a surplus, the government had to increase the national debt by $18 billion. How can you claim a surplus when you have to borrow more money? Y do u think Cheney has been backtracking saying that NO Iraq and Bin Laden were not connected.. but then he says but if we had to do it over we wouldnt change a thing... go figure that one out.... and without Obama helping GM we would not have a job today and the retirees would not have any insurance and there pensions would have all been cut .... just remember that. McCain said the workers are way over paid and so r the retirees.. go youtube that..he said that more than 10 times.. check back next year and tell me how obama is working out for ya.....
