uawrocks Posted April 17, 2010 Share Posted April 17, 2010 This may sound like a little issue to many at the moment, but at last month's Local meeting our ``highly skilled`` FINANCIAL SECRETARY-TREASURER attempted to pass a BY-LAW CHANGE that ``ONLY UNION ACTIVIST WILL GET A WATCH WHEN THEY RETIRE``! Luckily, those who happened to attend the meeting voted this BY-LAW CHANGE down. How is that treating the membership like managemnet, we should be getting involved with our local union!! Hell, it states that in the constitution! Hell, it states that in the constitution! Democratic union at its best........... The members are the governing body of this great union.
