  1. Call me what you want. I have an opinion like everyone else. I dont take shit, or eat shit or bend over as you say. I have no problem resolving issues on my own. If I need the union then its something legitimate that I cant fix on my own. Nobody has me herded. I am on a good team with a good group of members. I like my job and have nowhere near the problems that these name callers have. Sorry if my opinion doesn't line up with the 1%.
  2. Kiss ass ???? Not even close. Just not a drama queen like you. I have never read such garbage on here in my life. You and your 250 poster names are ridiculous
  3. Dont know about the buy down but all of the trades working in my dept are back to their tools.
  4. All while the remaining 99% of us come to work do our jobs to the highest quality everyday. Sorry for your thoughts on DTP but I like my job as well as the entire team. We are greatful for our great pay, benifits, medical and dental for our families. Sorry but you are not speaking for the 99%
  5. Reading the news link leads me to believe the end is near
  6. Trades at DTP are not retiring until June July and August. Most likely they will be posting in the summer.
  7. Sorry to read these posts about DTP. The Rouge and DTP have provided me with a good job, pay and great benefits for over 30 years. The misfits that post here are of the .001% of us at DTP.
  8. Those are our temps from DTP and temps from other locations. Thanks to the UAW they provided a path to full time employment for them. Some of these temps now new hires have been temps for years. Thank you UAW !!!!
  9. Over 900 took the trades package and over 500 took the production package. I have not seen this posted but just the word on the street
  10. Great post. Most of the posters here dont understand the arbitration process and how lengthy it can be. The timing on hearings and testimony falls upon the direction of the arbitrator. Ford nor the UAW lawyers can speed this up or slow it down. Its the arbitrator that runs the show.
  11. We work 4 days a week. We have 4 weeks vacation, 1 week personal and 20 paid holidays a year. Who has a problem coming to work? Isn't that why we applied to come work at Ford?
  12. I have a complaint at DTP I come to work, do my job get paid very well at nearly $30 per hour, the best benefits of anyone I know, union protected job security and 3 days off a week. I made the most money ever last year, more than any year ever with the least amount of overtime. I am treated with respect by management and I treat people the same way. I'm no doormat as I raise legitimate issues and get them resolved on my own or with the union if needed. Whom do I complain to about this terrible set of circumstances?
  13. Most of the trades on this poll are taking the 100000,,,,,, Is this an official exit poll??????
  14. I know many Trades that are signing up for this huge opportunity (retraining). Also, that report of over 400 trades taking the 100000 was 2 weeks ago (old news). The window for trades closes March 6th and historically that 400 trades will grow well over 500 trades in the final 2 weeks of sign up.
  15. They have hired almost 100 Entry Level here at DTP. Everyone hired were our past LTS,TPT, TFT etc. They have all been here on and off for the past 5 to 7 years and were finally hired under the new agreement. Dont know about other locations but these new hires are our DTP temps and thank the UAW for finally forcing Ford to hire them permanently.
  16. DTP took Brothers and Sisters from all over the nation, Norfolk, Chesterfield, Utica, Wixom, Monroe, Maumee when the 3rd shift was added in 2004. The Bush economy tanked in 2008 and we did alternating down weeks to keep us all working and did not burn up Sub or Tap. No one was "laid off permanently". Your comments are selfish, divisive and childish. Not a union friendly stance. There are other ways to deal with volume fluctuations besides laying off an entire shift. The IUAW and Local 600 bargained and ensured us all a regular pay check keeping all 3 shifts working during economic strife caused by the 2008 depression. Hope you open your arms to these homeless Brothers and Sisters and welcome them to a permanent home
  17. Who cares who posts here Most posters are outside of Ford and try to impose their personal agendas, Union busters, reporters, anti-Americans etc... So what if Furious posts here. I dont care....... At least I learned that the 2 companies that I terminated employment with yet still get a pension because of government protection still means that I am an employee or retiree from those companies yet legally terminated and separated. So in essence anyone that took the Special Termination of Employment still is an employee or retiree of Ford Wow, you learn something new everyday Keep on posting Furious, I really enjoy your conspiracy theories regardless of your termination of employment status Really this forum was boring until you started posting again.............. Keep the posts coming
  18. I too am grateful for the UAW All one has to do is look at the transplants to see how they are treated $24 per hour $300 per month medical out of pocket pay No profit sharing No bonuses No jury duty pay No bereavement pay No Sub No TAP No Personal days No family days Only 1/2 weeks vacation Go on medical-Never return No job transfer opportunities No Seniority Recognition Forced overtime No grievance procedure No voice in the workplace No paid holidays off..........................etc The list can go on for pages So on this Thanksgiving I do thank you UAW for many friends and family are suffering right now with no employment and low paying jobs. I am thankful for the UAW protection on my wages, benefits and job security Thank God for the UAW.............. I give thanks
  19. Thanks for the antiunion-autocaravan cut and paste on Chrysler issues FYI,,,, this is a Ford forum
  20. chuckii, Do you really think everyone is a stupid as you ?? Canadian labor laws dont apply in America Also our Constitution determines how the UAW operates Only to change at the convention Thanks for showing us with every post your IQ falls further into negative numbers
  21. The no voters are the first in line to demand a check on the day of ratification All greed and no brotherhood with these selfish me me me types
  22. Get over it We voted it in by 2/3s majority. In simple terms a landslide Common sense and wisdom prevailed Start your whine again in 3 1/2 years,,,,,, until then get some kleenex
  23. Dont worry poop, I know you are not Chuckie. Its just a misunderstanding that poop is always on chuckies breathe. See the confusion?? Should we call chuckie and all of his 200 profiles chucki, you know plural??
