I'm thinking its a day behind because of MLK day

I can't see having anymore down time until the dealerships are full of 2015 models.

Last I heard there is no more downtime scheduled for the near future.

I am in stamping so I don't know for sure, but a supervisor told me MAP is only going 4 hours. I don't know what kind of affect that will have on body or stamping if any

I never said I was complaining. I just said it made no sense.

Anyone know the reason behind MAP working 10.5 hours everyday when there is talk of multiple layoffs between now and the end of the year. Makes no sense to me.

They have said in the team leader meetings that the week of 5/5 and 6/23 were talked about along with the June 30 shutdown week. I also heard another week along with the August shutdown.

Where have you seen that we are scheduled for a down week at MAP?

I just wondered how the tool and die at ISA and/or MAP like the AWS. I may have an opportunity to get into tool and die at ISA/MAP and wanted some input from anyone who is currently working tool and die there. I worked as a tool and die apprentice before and was laid off after completing my apprenticeship. I haven't worked tool and die since and that's been almost 10 years ago now. I'm just worried that I won't get the retraining that I need and that they will expect me to know more than I will because its been so long. I am currently working in ISA on the line right now. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have heard they are looking for 6 temp. tool and die at the Saline plant. Anyone else heard or have more info? I guess sign up is until 5pm tomorrow(Friday).
