atvman Posted August 20, 2010 Share Posted August 20, 2010 (edited) Ford, as well as GM, was involved in writing this standard. It's only a matter of time before they each officially adopt it. In fact, it might even become mandated by the NHTSA in the near future. My employer has an SAE account, perhaps I'll read this on my lunch on Monday.
